Arranger Gold was last for sale in 1999 or something :) we are working on getting the full albums online for free MP3 download. The demand for these CD's is too low to press official CD's (as we did with Arranger Gold) again. We hope that free MP3 download will make everybody happy. I hope we will have enough webspace soon.

Of course my Snatcher arrangements will only be available on junkerhq.net (with the exception of Triumphal Arch which was already on Arranger Platinum).

It would indeed be great to get one of this CDs.. please let us know when they are available, and by what mediums (paypal, etc) so we can move to get one.

Keep up your excellent work my friend, it is really good and something a lot of people enjoy (142 downloads of your mp3s during september, 40 so far this month, and several hundreds more during the year do backup that).

That's nice :) I was wondering how often they would get downloaded. As I said I am doing the finishing touches on 2 new songs for JunkerHQ (and the sheets)...I am also gonna rerecord the piano version of Twilight btw, since I have a much better piano now :)

I really wanna hear the full versions of "solid snake" vs big boss" and solid snake(metal gear 2) I really like the metal gear demo's the vampire killer tracks, and the piano CD, this music is genuine and awsome! I love video game music, and when I build a metal gear 1 & 2 area at the other site I work on, it'd be awsome to have this music there. Maybe you can host them all on soulseek from your hard drive or a network workstation, most people I know that can't pay for web space but want to place their stuff on use this safe P2P.

http://www.slsknet.org/

it works by username and exellent buddy lists, its indie and it works great

I just hope no one gets impatient :) if it takes me too long to get everything online I can always temporarily upload any Kojima-game-music like the ones from Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake.

btw Artemio: i noticed you inlcuded feedback on my songs in the Snatcher forum, shouldn't you move this topic there then?

[edit]
Done thanks :)

You mean the compilation album? If so I have all the tracks (except 9) and it is a great album, you should upload it :)

No I mean our own arrangements...some snippets can be listened at http://www.generation-msx.org/arranger

I do agree the compilation albums rocks, oh well, having bought Metal Gear for MSX in 1987 and Solid Snake in 1990 I knew all the music, but the arranged version of MG2's second intro is magnificent!

Errr no...we did most of the songs of Metal Gear 1, let's see...Theme of Tara, Red Alert, TX-55, Normal Boss theme, Snake vs Big Boss. If we do the ending and the dungeon songs I think we have them all. Metal Gear 2 is something else, my buddy Bart made a great remake of the first intro song (which is on Arranger Gold) but I don't think we did any other songs from MG2. Then again, people usually overrate the music of MG2, they are mainly short ambient loops...only a few real songs (which are very good nonetheless).

I found out about these from my brother back in 1999 or 2000 but I didn't have time to give it much attention, now years later I wish I should have.

I'm not over indulging either, this is great music, and I'm a real picky SOB when it comes to good mixes of great games.

Well I must admit there are songs that are not really that good, a couple of fast and simple remakes. Those are the 'old' songs really...later we learned to pay a lot of attention to the arrangements, and even later we learned to decently create a mastermix :) you can see errr...hear the evolution in our skills :)

Yay! I just kicked the oldest topic in this forum! My skills are grand!

Oh anyway, I thought it might not be a bad idea to let everyone know that all our old MSX Arranger music disks AND our old audio albums have been bundled and reprinted by the Sunrise Foundation. There are three bundles in total, each containing two MSX floppy disks and a CD-Rom for PC with the Audio albums in mp3 format, sheetmusic, background info etc.

I already let Artemio know per E-mail, than I remembered he wasn't the only one interested :D

The third bundle isn't out yet, that will contain a lot of new stuff. More info can be found here: http://www.generation-msx.nl/arranger/projects

Since the production is out of my hands, people interested in obtaining these bundles should contact Mr. Rob Hiep at Sunrise...his contact details can be found at their website http://www.msx.ch

They were first sold last weekend for 6 euros per bundle...so that ain't too expensive :)

You know I love you right :D

As a useful addition, I know not many of you will be familiar with the MSX computer system let alone own one. The CD-Rom also contains the DSK images that can be used with any (free!) MSX emulators available on the internet.
