Then you've got to try this emu.87th wrote:If you're only running files from your Harddrive though, I'd say it's the best (granted I haven't tried another emulator for the best part of a year).Mo3ius wrote:I don't recomend you to use GENS. It has some serious problems with CD/DVD Drive recognition.

Go for GENS 32
Gens32 is based on Stef's emulator, Gens and on Gens Plus by Rodrigo Cardoso (Both are open source).
Gens32 adds many new features. Many of them you have never seen before.

That can all be remedied with ForceASPI. (http://radified.com/ASPI/forceaspi.htm) I've never seen Gens recognize any optical drives under Windows XP without it.Mo3ius wrote:I don't recomend you to use GENS. It has some serious problems with CD/DVD Drive recognition.

I couldn't even get the emulator to start Sega CD emulation at all without ASPI drivers.8bitsonic wrote: That can all be remedied with ForceASPI. (http://radified.com/ASPI/forceaspi.htm) I've never seen Gens recognize any optical drives under Windows XP without it.
