looking for hi-res image...

Post by Vanessie »

I would love to get a larger and clearer picture of the Junker logo (the one in the corner of this forum in the upper left) for personal use, I like to mess around with photoshop and it would be nice to get it silkscreened on a shirt or something..

I can clean up a scan if thats all that can be done... thanks!

I think (and I'm not a Snatcher buff like the other guys on this site) that the English language version of Snatcher tried to make more sense of what JUNKER could stand for.

The logo is only available with the Japanese definition of JUNKER. Even the UK manual has the logo with the original definition.

Here's the logo in .pdf format. You should be able to open it in Illustrator or Photoshop if you want to tinker with the colors or the design. Have fun with it!

Doesn't seem to me like it would be all that difficult to edit the English version of JUNKER. Let's see... P cut out from R, S could be resized and O from C. I could do that over the weekend, if there is demand.

Well, here is the fruit of my labour. Hopefully someone appreciates it. Making the V was a bit tricky, but I think it turned out fine.

Looks damn good, except I think the date should have been changed to 2047 to line it up completely with the English version of the game.

Haha yeah The Police are a band, that guy in the picture is Sting their bass player, he was in a movie called Dune, his character in that movie is where kojima drew the inspiration for Random Hajile, it was just a joke no worries.

Yeah, well the original picture I posted was Sting, the site seemed to have taken the one I posted down, and changed it to one of those auto matic hotlinking pictures, the picture there now is of the guitar player.

EDIT: I fixed the picture problem, it's of sting now.

oh and no problem, if I find anymore I'l post em here.

Hey guys, sorry for bumping an old thread, but I can't seem to find the 3000x1875 one. The Moai mask costs 1500 and the MSX version is 2, but I could not find a way to open it.

http://junkerhq.net/Snatcher/Calendar/HiRes/1502.jpg

How can I get that picture?

Wow, I had forgotten I put those little hidden things in Junker years ago...

The MSX version of Snatcher was 9800 yen, and the mask costs 1500.
Thanks a lot for reminding me of that.

I did check the site stats since 2001... and guess what. Only one person figured it out... on March 27 2006.

P.S. How about a hi-res scan of the calendar, if you still have it?

Hello guys!

I need help with finding Gillian Seed specific image.. I attached snapshot from youtube walkthrough of the Snatcher.

Maybe someone can get a lossless snapshot from MSX or PC88 game... I really appreciate if someone help me to get that image in better quality.
or maybe there is even original art exists?

Thank you!)

The first question should be: What operating system are you using?

If you're using Windows, then it should be very simple. You can at least either use blueMSX for the MSX2 version or M88 or Quasi88 for the PC-8801 version and try to beat the game. Once that screen (the one you took) pops up, quickly hit PrtScn (or use a screen capture software like Screenshot Captor or DuckCapture for example).

If Mac OS X, OpenMSX with NekoLauncher should do it. You still need screen capture softwares like DuckLink. If you have no idea how to use NekoLauncher, click here. You might wanna find the machine files on your own since I'm not willing to get banned for legal issues.

If any system other than the two listed above, then I can see why you're requesting.

I know that blueMSX allows users to pause the emulator, and I kinda recall NekoLaucher does the same for OpenMSX, so that should help you.
