Just wondering, have you ever tried to contact or been contacted by Gemini? I'm sure he could offer some advice. From following a couple of projects he's working on, it really seems that he knows his way around the Playstation hardware.

people keep bringing you ideas and connections that might help.
but I never hear/read that any of the Policenaut's team are actually considering, using, or at least trying some of these ideas.
I'm pretty certain a spark of interest in finishing this project has already been on it's way to an explosion of yummy firey Policenaut goodness... but... we wish we knew how thing's are going and whether or not any of us could be some use.
don't consider us annoying. Forgive us, for we know not what we do/say.

lk my idea f txt shrtning.
It would be possible to shorten the text by taking all the vowels out. Studies have shown most people are still able to read text with no vowels.
Lk ths sntnc. I bt u cn rd ths.
Or was that with every other vowel taken out.... Ah, I don't remember!
Also, that Lupin/MetalGear video is excellent.
Why is it that we all share so many interests?

Playing this game with warped text would be like looking at the Mona Lisa with sun-glasses on.

To be honest I think it would be better to look at the Mona Lisa with dark blue tinted sunglasses than never seeing it at all.

If I remember right, he said he didn't have the time, which is understandable.

That is quite an arguable point, but it is basically based on personal taste. Of course you are talking to a guy that prefers to listen to vinyl on good speakers though a decent amplifier, while doing nothing else but paying attention to the music.
But we can help you right now. You can play Policenauts in Japanese. It is a comparable experience to the analogy you placed above

Artemio... you're a honest to goodness great person!
I'm glad you've started all this and I am looking forward to the game.
also... MGS4 is so close it will tide us over for a while. but don't forget to finish that game as soon as possible!
I've played Policenaut's in Japanese 2 times over and it's a wonderful experience even if I don't understand some things.
please know that we care about all your team's efforts and that we would rather have perfections than nonsense.
thankyou!

Indeed, Liquid's site has been there from the very start.

OK, first post here and my first time wandering into the forums. I've been following this project since last summer, however, and the thought of a translated Policenauts has me all tingly. That being said... seriously... take your time and do it right. We've all waited this long for the game, we can wait longer to make sure a good copy hits our hot little hands.
Thanks again for taking this on. Konami has already shown time and time again that they don't care about Snatcher and Policenauts... glad someone does.

Silver112 do you have a bigger version of that videogame-nekidd lady picture?
That's totally a nerd's dream.
"Should I play games or play doctor? how bout both!"
Anyway, I'm liking all this positive feedback for the team in charge of the project. I'm hoping it is giving the motivation, the good tinglies, and the whatever float's the boat towards a successful complete project.
I finally watched Bladerunner by the way, and I now see all the things that "Influenced" parts of Kojima's game Snatcher
"...Time to die now" (The Randam lookalike in Snatcher on Bladerunner)
