I actually didn't figure anything of MGS4 out after playing MGS3.
Last Game Completed: MGS4; before that: all the MGS games in anticipation of MGS4; before that: Xenosaga I (was trying to play all three in a row but fell out sync with that).

Blade Runner
This adventure game really emulates to the perfection the feeling of its cinematographical counterpart :
- No more "dumb" enigmas/puzzles ! You just have to collect evidences / clues and interrogate witnesses/suspects to progress in the game. There are a few shooting scenes as well.
- The NPC have got their own "timetable", which makes them feel "alive".
- The pre-rendered backgrounds still look great more than 10 years after the game's release.
However the 3D characters are horribly pixelated.
- The script is wonderful and takes elements from both the film and the original novel (i.e. the importance of animals, ...).
You'll play as Ray McCoy, a new Blade Runner, charged to investigate about animal murders while the events of the film take place. You'll have the opportunity to visit various locations from the film and to meet several known characters (Gaff, Chew, Leon, Rachel, ...).
The events from the game and the replicants Ray will encounter also ressemble (in a way) the ones from the film.
Moreover the nature of the characters (Replicant/Human) is randomly chosen and there are numerous alternative dialogs and endings.
I really wonder why this game isn't praised more often !
Grim Fandango
I tried to play this game, but it crashes back to Windows after Manny opens the door of his office at the very beginning of the game ! I tried every patch and workaround solutions I found but it didn't work. So I just decide to play instead...
Max Payne
A wonderful 3rd person action game.
Max Payne is a detective whose wife and baby girl have been murdered by junkies.
Max then decides to infiltrate the mafia, but his contact and friend at the police is killed.
Max starts a vengeful war against those who ruined his life...
The game's first strong point is the script written by Sam Lake (who also lent his appearence to the main character in this installment). The story is mainly unveiled by graphic novel-like cutscenes which contain film noir dialogs full of those delightful metaphors spoken by talented voice actors. The story also bears parallelism to the Norse mythology, which adds another level of understanding to the story. The characters are interesting and don't feel too generic (you really feel Max's pain for example).
The game's second strong point are its action scenes with the bullet time effect (you can slow down time to easily eliminate your enemies in a John Woo / Matrix fashion).
The game's third strong point is its variety : you won't pass all your time shooting enemies : you'll also have to escape buildings in fire or Max's Silent Hill-like nightmares.
A great game who deserves its reputation.
Max Payne 2 : The Fall of Max Payne - A Film Noir Love Story
Basically, in this sequel, everything has been made more glamorous (the graphisms, the characters' models, the bullet time, the graphic novels, the nightmare sequences ...). Some characters' behaviours also change drastically compared to the first game.
This time the theme of the game is passion and the story ressembles Milton's Paradise Lost. The story isn't displayed in the chronological order (a bit like Kill Bill's chapters, if you like) and three TV shows (a costume piece, a Twin Peaks parody and a Max Payne 1 parody) which bear parallels with the main story have also been incorporated into the game. You'll also play as Mona Sax and enjoy the opportunity to see a part of the story from her POV.
I'd say Max Payne 2 is slightly better than the first, but more gameplay innovations would have been welcomed (apart from Mona covering Max with her sniper and more platforms sequences, there's nothing new).

I've never played Max Payne, I've played Dead to Rights and I heard that is really similar to Max Payne.

Guitar Hero III and Soulcalibur IV. I should finally be getting Okami for my birthday, next week, so it's good to have some pick-up-and-play games.

I finished the PS2 version of Alone in The Dark a couple nights ago. Nothing too fancy, a bit of fun... concepts that could've been great, if they were fully realized.
... Well, that's what I thought until I saw the 360/PC version. The PS2 iteration is fucking pantomime. Has anyone else played it yet? Should I get excited for the PS3 version? It seems like opinions concerning that game are all across the board.
I also finished the REmake again a while ago. Still tons of fun, a wonderful reinvisioning of one of my favourite games ever... The dialogue is still lined with one-liners, which never fails to detract from the scary...
I can't remember what else-- Oh wait, KOF2006. Terry's swearing is hilarious. That game is a fucking mess.

I really hated Alone in the Dark after my first encounter with the enemy. I know it is not just me disliking it. Read about it on many respected gaming sites.
Last game I have completed is MGS 4, I will complete MGS for "God knows how many"th time today or tomorrow

Last game i completed was Call of duty 3... no, wait. Actually i didn't complete the game because it sucked.
I tried to complete it, but the game made me sick so i couldn't lol. I heard that it isn't too great game, so i didn't expect too much. But I tought it would be at least decent WW2 game, but i was wrong. I liked the first cod and hoped that cod3 would bee better because of better graphics and and advanced gameplay features. But no, even if cod3 is much newer game than cod1, (or cod2) graphics are shit, FPS is lower than any PS3 game i've played so far and the animation sucks so bad. The game is all about scripted events like all other games of the series, but this time the events are lame and doesn't look any interesting. I don't understand how could they mess up with this game since all other call of dutys (especially the fourth one) are so awesome.
Call of duty 3 are shit. I made big mistake buying it.
+/-
- Graphics
- FPS too low
- Animation
- Gameplay features (there is nothing we have seen before)
- Can't skip cutscenes.
- Stupid and lame scripted events
- Uses the name Call of duty so people like me could accidentaly buy it.
- Online game sucks because there is no players (cuz anyone doesn't want to play it)
+ Frontcover is ok.
