vs, would you say this one is bigger than the blue octacamo one? which one is "more detailed"?

Exact same except suit color.
Let's just say if I had to pick one for looks - it'd be the blue one. For collector value, the Olive Drab since it's more limited.
Essentially it's the same figure though. Only someone with mental problems would waste money to get both.

oh damn... so basically it isnt actually 12 inches with the other MGS figures? I'm guessing raiden is the height of Snake in MGS4

It looks to be about 12-13", I don't have a tape measure handy but I'm sure that's how big it is.
The MGS4 figures are bigger than the MGS3 ones so they look odd if you pose them together.

ohh... ahaha, interesting. I woulda thought the same company would use the same size for most of the figures.

From what I gather, it's because of the new "skeleton" they designed for the MGS4 figures. The old one (they used for many other figures including the MGS3 ones) didn't work with the rubber Octacamo and Cyborg Ninja suits of Old Snake and Raiden so they had to design a new one. Why the didn't make them the same size I have no clue.

well, tats good, at least its not junky and whatnot so that we can see the joints and whatnot.
I like rubber suits on top of things... make things feel more "real"

The Old Snake is really hard to pose. The rubber suit does not co-operate at all. I'm hoping the Raiden is better.
Alot of people have even broken joints trying to pose the Old Snake.

yeah, i know what u mean, I have built kits that has rubber things on top of joints (to make everything look nicer)... and they dont stay in position well.

This poster is just awesome. It's my new favorite. For now anyways as I'm quite excited to have gotten it.
Rinkya did an amazing packing job at my request. Check it out, they used a thick PVC pipe and put it in a triangular custom made box (1/4" thick) stuffed with newspaper. No way this could've gotten dinged up. This is why even though I use SMJ for low price items, I'll always use Rinkya for anything valuable or fragile. I did request extra care in shipping regardless of cost and they did an even better job than I had hoped.

What's a clean photo?
Are you knocking the shittiness of my picture taking? I thought we already discussed how I can't use the flash properly heh. Or you mean the boxes in the way..I should get it framed by this weekend for sure.
Just for dissing my mad photo skillz I'm sniping you on that E3 soundtrack!!!!
j/k heh
Holy crap I've passed 500 posts. I think only on one other forum I've ever cracked 100. I'm having trouble reaching 50 on another so I can use their high traffic buy and sell area heh. I think my post #500 was in the Off Topic area where I was discussing how I'd like to thoroughly bone VP nominee Sarah Palin

violent what do you do for a living to have such a huge disposable income. I wouldn't even wanna guess as to how much you have invested in metal gear stuff.

LOL I get asked that alot heh. I'm a professional gambler. With the NFL season going I'm going to have alot more income for the next 5 months. In the NFL off season I pay the bills betting on baseball.
Actually I'm totally lying. I haven't been on the + side in sports gambling (for let's say an entire year) in a LONG time. I did win $110 betting the under on the Pitt/Cle game this Sunday though
It's not how much you make, it's what you do with your money. Even with markets crashing we've been almost uneffected. If anyone here ever has any need for any specific financial advice, I'm not an expert, but I'd totally try and help.
I can even give great financial advice with 2 words:
buy gold

Custom made I believe..? I think I suggested Gixo make these and sell em on ebay.
Follow up with Snake in a barrel Gixo!
EDIT:
Just framed this picture. I bought the same type of frame as the one I use for my Kojima letter.

He's got so much stuff I bet he's bought alot of items twice by mistake because he just forgets he had em.
The My Little Pony display looks a bit creepy if you ask me.

The whole thing brings up the image of the movie Waterboy, where Captain Insano says: "I bet that guys' still a virgin!"
