I recommend you to play ZOE first for the scenario, and to enjoy the evolution of gameplay/graphics between ZOE and the 2nd Runner.
When I played ZOE2, I didn't really want to play ZOE because The Second Runner is much better ! (like MGA and MGA2 for me)
But I think you can still understand the scenario without playing ZOE before, it's just more logical to play the first before the 2nd...

I'm just looking for a sealed MGS2 Shareholder, various other sealed MGS (JPN) games, and the white and black sorter. A lot of money into that list. Your as well.

It will run on it, but I don't know how easy it'll be to get through the registration process (unless you know Japanese and have no qualms with inputting a lot of fraudulant information).
