If so, how much did you pay for each of those sealed?
there's a seller that frequently lists it at 2680 buy-out price, he must have a box of em

My girl is asleep right here in my bed, so I just laid the magazines on top of her to take the pictures, haha. Anyways, they are both sealed, might open the outer wrapping though to check them out.

By the way, do they make a poster of the magazine cover to the left? I have the one on the right already.

Nope.
Well, maybe bay would know better, he's got so many posters I'm sure if it exists he's seen it. I actually have seen a custom poster sold of that picture with no words at all on it. I think the guy that sold me my custom Old Snake saluting poster sold that one too.

there is no promo poster by konami that uses that picture, however the promo materials that konami released for shops to use to make their own promo materials (like posters) did include that picture, amongst others.

Yeah, the next poster I'm aiming to get is the MGS3 one that matches the Shareholder Version.

Just got given my dad's old camera since he won a new one. Thought I'd use it to take some pictures of my set-up. A lot of my PS2 games are missing, but it still looks like a decent collection. My MSX2's power supply blew recently, so it's not in the picture, but I'm planning to replace it with a 1chipMSX sometime. My handhelds (PSP, DS Lite, GBA, GBC, GBP, GB, Game Gear, GP2X) are all elsewhere, too.

I don't want to consider it, to be honest. There's games I buy just to develop a well-rounded collection of classic games, and games I buy because I have a genuine interest in playing them through to completion. I've completed probably 90% of the games I really cared about. The rest? Maybe 30%? I mean, I've completed almost all of the games on whatever I've considered my "main console" at the time (for example, I've completed all the PS3 games I've bought).

Yeah, I own a ton I've just never had the interest in completing. Often I play a game, then a month into it something deadly comes out and I totally stop playing the other game. Like recently, I was so hot on Soul Calibur 4 then I got Disgaea 3, now there's no chance I'll play SC4.
Come to think about it, I may have gone all of 2008 without playing my 360. I just use it to watch my South Park DVDs heh.

I'm actually the quite opposite, I know theres a lot of great games that are available, but I'm not going to budge unless I'm done the game that I bought.
So basically I don't have much games for my ps3. (i mean, i hardly game now, since most of my funds go to MGS and such).

Sweet collection 87th! i got quite alot of games & consoles, although like VS i play them for a couple of weeks then move on.
I am stopping that now & only buying the games i REALY want (my next game being Fable 2, cant WAIT!!) .
I think we need a thread for games/console collections, if one hasn't already been made, i might do it

+1 to that mate. I'm not very disciplined with my MG collecting (getting better!), but I seem to be very disciplined in buying games ONLY once I've completed my current game or my interest in it dies out. I've got my eye on a load of PS3 games especially the Force Unleashed but I refuse to buy anything until I've done my MG marathon and I've completed Knight of the Old Republic which I bought last year first!
I never used to be like that but recently it's helped me prioritise my gaming and has forced me to complete things and enjoy them because of the desire to purchase and play other titles.

Thanks guys. I'm from Texas. AND NO I'm not a cowboy (for some reason, everyone online these days sees that your from Texas, and they assume you are a cowboy....lol). I stated collecting a while back, actually my friend at work got me more into it. He collects all kinds of toy figures. Batman, Predator, Terminator, Castlevania, Star Wars, ect..... No video games though. I showed him the Metal Gear Medicom and Sideshow toys that I like and he seems very impressed with the way they look. He didn't take this people collecting Metal Gear stuff seriously, UNTIL I showed him violentsnake's collection..........BWAP!!!! A slap in the face to him! He didn't know people took this game so seriously! He said that your collection was unbelievable! Even though he wasn't in to that kind of stuff. So there you have it violentsnake, your collection draws even people that are not interested in Metal Gear! So where are you guys from?
