the jokes and products would require some adaptation, but kojima has done it before. look at the various snatcher endings. it's just a matter of putting a xbox360 on the table instead of a ps3Commander wrote:man we even got fanboys here lol. awesome. Anyways their is no way mgs is going to 360. I mean look at the game itself. How many references does KOJIMA make that it is ps3 only. Snake change the disc. Oh that right you dont have to were on Blu-ray. Also remind me how many sony products are in the game? How many microsoft items? And like a previous poster said before when mgs2 was ported to 360 dont you remember how bad the sales were. Plain and Simple do u thing Microsoft would wanna advertise all these Playstation items on their console. The answer is no and that the same answer it was from ALL OF THE MGS team.

Yeah but that was back in the day when there was like 30 people that actually programmed and developed the game, back when everything was smaller, and everything was relatively simpler. If you wanted to change things in mgs4 it would take so much work and money, I just doubt it'd be worth it all. And that's not even counting all the money it would take to get this game to run on the older hardware of the 360. Now I'm not in anyway being a fanboy, I really honestly don't care if it does get ported to the 360, in fact, let them have it, I don't need this game to taint my ps3 anymorecacetete wrote:the jokes and products would require some adaptation, but kojima has done it before. look at the various snatcher endings. it's just a matter of putting a xbox360 on the table instead of a ps3Commander wrote:man we even got fanboys here lol. awesome. Trust me, it didn't push PS3 anywhere CLOSE to the limits yet. Kojima has personally said even a dual layer bluray wasnt enough storage for the game, but he'll have to make do with it.violentsnake wrote:LOL!
Can't happen. It was made pushing the PS3 to the limits, the 360 couldn't handle it. They'd have to strip down the cut scenes, put it on 5 double layer DVD's, and since not all 360s have hard drives I wonder how it would it play without the hard drive installs.
The red rings of death would be all over the place heh.
but the game already slows down a lot when theres too much in the screen, like the end of act 2 when the geckos start breaking everything.Dick Motorman wrote:Nah MGS4 didn't push the graphics boundaries of the ps3 all that hard.
So you mean people cant own PS1, PS2 and Xbox 360? That should be enough to get the story.Ghost wrote:Doesn't really matter if they get the game.
They would have a disadvantage though, with the exception of Sons of Liberty none of the other games has ever been released on the Xbox, thus leaving the gamers very confused about the storyline.

That's never happened to me either.cacetete wrote:computing space?Commander_AK-47 wrote:Your hard drive must be packed because that is a matter of computing space, not the game itself. That never happened to me.
well, in several different ps3, I see things moving very fast when snake is alone in the hotel and slower in the end of act 4.
it looks a little slower then the other parts to me.Commander_AK-47 wrote:Yea see? I think its something with your PS3.
ok.Commander_AK-47 wrote:No way, that looked normal to me.
the real question is why are you being a prick about it? If it's happened to him, if he sees it and it bothers him he has the right to talk about it, regardless of whether or not you see it or it's happened to you. There's absolutely no need to be so rude about it.Commander_AK-47 wrote:If the difference is so little and apparently unnoticeable then why the hell are you complaining about it?
it doesnt bother me, i just say the game is far from perfect, storywise and technically. it is just pretty and funny. i like mgs3.Dick Motorman wrote:the real question is why are you being a prick about it? I have said it once and I will say it again. The story had a few flaws, to the effect of being more loyal to MGS3 than it was to MGS1 and MGS2., but the technical side was not too bad. There were a few small bugs but like all other Konami games it was in lack of most common issues. Metal Gear Online however was full of problems. Its functions like the MGO Shop and the really common maintenance are a nuisance for which the laggy, malfunctioning gameplay does not make up for. Because of massive issues I had to pay for my expansion pack and then have to pay more for an extra character slot because I couldn't access my character anymore. Its the problem like this that have brought me to hate the MGO team at Konami.cacetete wrote: it doesnt bother me, i just say the game is far from perfect, storywise and technically. it is just pretty and funny. i like mgs3.
