Well, you know, I see your point, it's just that it's ridiculous that Rose would refer to MGS by name. I reckon they just didn't credit her for it. I don't think it's the retinal scanner woman anyway, it didn't sound much like her.

I didn't really intend to suggest it was Rose's character, just that as an actor she was already credited. It came out a bit wrong though. I can see your problem with her referring to it by name, but either way, the interesting point is that it's another case of the line between the game's reality and our reality being blurred, which is something that MGS2 attempts to do frequently.

How po-faced was that.

Yeah, almost as a ridiculous as hearing Ocelot say "press the circle button to resist".

Anyone has the Korean versions of MGS2+3? How are they like compared to the other versions of the games? Do they used Japanese or English dialogue or do they use Korean dialogue instead? I get the impression they must be in Japanese subbed into Korean since they run on NSTC J hardware, but who knows.

I'm pretty sure Konami said 2 and 3 have English and Japanese dialogue only.

Judging by the trailer, it seems that (at least MGS3) is in Japanese with Korean subtitles.

They also made a Korean version of Substance too (in addition of MGS2+3).

MGS2 has English, French, German, Italian and Spanish subtitles on the same (UK) disc. I can't be sure, but I'd bet all the versions released in Europe were like that, except those in the Scandinavian countries. I know of someone who plays MGS2, and he's Finnish. Plus, Konami has a Scandinavian section on its site. Tough call.

In the Scandinavian version you can select the subtitles to be in: English France and Dutch oh and Konami“s Scandinavian is in Sweden
