No seriously, I think Snake Plissken might have it.

He may have, problem is I can't get into contact with the man.

You want the trainer to beat those super-insectors, huh? Well, I'll tell you, I beat 'em WITHOUT the trainer! Hah! Just keep tapping the key- don't stop! And I'm not sure if Gens has a "turbo" function, but if it does, turn it on!

It's one of those bits where if you just practice enough, you'll be able to do it no problem. In fact, you'll wonder what all the fuss was about. :P

Funny thing is, I did get past the insectors - only to be killed by the snatchers afterwards. XD

They're right, y'know. It becomes incredibly easy after a little practice - stop being lazy and just keep at it. Like I said in the other thread, hit the fire button repeatedly throughout and just worry about the aiming. Plus, using a trainer's not going to provide much satisfaction, is it?

Hahaha!

I couldn't find the trainer but I don't care, I finally got the stroke of luck I needed to pull through and get past. I took your advice and pressed the fire button as quickly as I could while aiming at anything that was green and ugly. The snatchers gave me little trouble, in all honesty though, I was expecting to get killed by the snatchers again. Fortunately that never happened.

I also think I need to stay off fatty foods for a while, my heart's been given an excessive workout. I almost shot Jamie!

Damn, what an ending. This is going to be quite a bold claim to make, but I think the ending of Snatcher is superior to the ending of the first Metal Gear Solid.

You have my thanks.
Spoiler:
Also, Elijah Modnar reminds me of James Marcus from Resident Evil Zero. Maybe it's the whole young/old thing going on, I dunno.

Maybe the start of the ending, yes. The very end (outside the plane) is a bit crappy in my opinion, though.

It made Gillian look like a pimp.

Most people seem to think a Snatcher sequel should take place in Russia, but I think a return to Neo Kobe (with flashbacks to Russia throughout the game) would be good, too. Most of the game is the atmosphere of the city, and that would be lost without it. They practically set up that kind of sequel at the end (JUNKER being elevated in status, new chief, etc.)
