End credits have been bothering us for awhile, and yes, while not for exactly the same reasons as MGS, you're on the right track.

After this is all said, and done, I'm planning on doing a document that explains all the challenges we faced and how we did it from a technical aspect. Tomato did something similar for Mother 3, though I'm not sure if he finished it or not. (He probably did, I just never thought to check.)

Fucking yes!!! Thanks you so much.. Form all this, except the excitement of the policenauts release i have an even bigger excitement of how this was achieved. I have read some pages on this forum to understand some stuff and i have grasped the big picture but the details is what eats me. Posting here for details will probably tire you, so writing an article that goes about the general methodology followed and also the details about problems and solutions would be great. Double thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am actually interested in japanese encoding and changes you had to do and also the code you wrote to make this work (which remains a mystery in my head). i guess you get your ass down and really get into something you can't understand it. Wow, i should be a zen teacher. Slowbeef, do you actually work as a programmer? I can imagine you in a room full with programmers working while eating slices of pizza, while you stay faithful to our own, true, original Neo Kobe Pizza tm. All Rights Reserved.

P.S : wtf is project s?

Project S is the code name for the as of yet unannounced collaboration between Hideo Kojima and Goichi Suda.

Goichi Suda, aka Suda51, of Killer7 fame has mentioned his love for Snatcher and on stage with Kojima proclaimed they should make a game together someday.

Project S exists only on paper, perhaps as a pre-pre-production.

Everyone hopes that Project S means Project sequel to Snatcher.

Killer7 is a compelling interpretation of the adventure genre in 3-D; I hope that putting those two together in a room is as awesome as it seems.

Alas, Kojima productions is gauging interest in Zone Of The Enders 3... that other game we've been hoping for.

Huh... Project S was officially confirmed to be part of the Snatcher franchise long ago.
Project S will include a radio drama prequel titled JUNKER and a game sequel called SNATCHERS.

I thought the radio drama prequel was going to be called "Snatchers". I don't think they've said anything about a game yet. Kojima was originally going to call Snatcher "JUNKER" but couldn't for some legal reason.

When was this announced?

I clearly must be punished for this oversight.

Down to one.

But I'm saying this now and for the record - this last one is gonna take awhile because this is going to involve a bunch more playtesting and discussion and "we're really at beta, right? No takebacks?" etc.

And this last one (end credits) is really, really a nightmare and more might come up.

I still can't decide if this is a hilarious or tragic bug to have survive the longest. It's come across as the largest nag in your posts, and now I think it officially is the largest nag.

I've seen lots of subtitled films where people haven't even bothered translating the credits or at least most of them. But I can understand if you guys need to do it for legal reasons or something.

Oh dear. Well, you've shown that you're more than capable of overcoming it! So, take your time and do your best!

Good luck!

Congratulations!!!

Oh my... just a bug... and in the (I suppose) less important part of the whole game... it's a shame it's that hard to deal with it... but gambatte anyways!

SB... about the "are we really in beta stage?"... yes, it's been -a lot of- years but do not hesitate to believe it, guys!... you're finally there, even if a bug or two appear. Think beta already, man!

Greets!

No. After all that they will delete EVERYTHING in the name of detachment.

This is about where it is:

- "Okay, that bug's fixed - did we find anymore in the meantime? * Yes? Okay, let's fix those. Fixed? No known bugs? Let's call beta and do final test playthroughs."

See that asterisk I snuck in that sentence? That's about where I have to find the time to figure out how to make this damn thing a patch.

I have several ideas and practical methods for that.

How about "non-attachment"? At the root of detachment is attachment.
