Thank you very much for all the hard work you guys have done! It truly is great to finally have a chance to play this game.

I was wondering if anyone else was having issues with regards to the animated cutscenes. At times, the audio desynchs pretty badly. It's almost like watching a poorly uploaded youtube video.

I am using epsxe 1.70.

Other than that, thank you again!

I joined just to say thanks to you guys for doing this. I had no problems whatsoever getting the patch to work. Great job.

This is really fantastic work. I never thought I'd be able to play this game, but you guys really went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that Policenauts got the AAA treatment it truly deserved. A big thank you, and many congratulations!

I'm constantly getting this error:

"xdelta3: file open failed: read: Policenauts1.iso: The system cannot find the file specified."

I've put the iso files in same folder as patch.

Did you rename the ISOs Policenauts1.iso and Policenauts2.iso?

yes I did.

Would it be possible for you to look at them in DOS to make sure they're not named something weird like "Policenauts1.iso.iso"? Windows does that sometimes.

(Alternatively, try just renaming it Policenauts1 and see if that works)

I've finally able to patch both ISOs. But what am I suppose to do from here? Convert it into eboot in order to play it on psp? I've tried this method but it doesn't work because it's missing pbp file.

Hey guys who are able to patch disc 1 but not disc 2? Are both of your .iso's for disc 1 and 2 the same size? Mine is, and was wondering if you can play the intro scene part using disc 2. Cuz I think I have disc_2 just renamed as disc_!.

It takes a minute before disc 1 is finished patching. Give it five minutes after it displays the patching message, and see if it will let you start patching disc 2.

Wow, guys, the patch came out way earlier than I expected. Nice work.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll get to play it for some months. Such is life.

Very nice! Odd thing is I could swear I signed up for the mailing list eons ago, and yet no mail. Oh, well, thank's Kotaku.
In other news, I am in love with the guy who translated this. It is just unbelievably good. Nearly every line is hit that just rolls of the tongue. I constantly feel the need to stop and read the lines out loud with feeling, making me all the more realize how amazing the game would have been, realized with English voices. I know people are gonna want to lynch me for just suggesting that English voices could be better, but I have not one doubt in my mind that this script would sound amazing with a proper voice cast.

Anyway, thank you very much to all parts involved in bringing us this fine work.

I'm currently following the instructions in the readme, and Alcohol 120% won't let me to create an .iso file from my .ccd rip. The only options (when the data type is Play Station) are to make a .mds or another .ccd image. What do I have to do now? Can I just use a converter or something like that?

E: When I tried converting it using a problem called MagicISO I do get an ISO file but this one can't be read by ePSXe and provides the error message "xdelta3: target window checksum mismatch: XD3_INVALID_INPUT" when I try to patch it.

E2: Oh wait, this is the wrong thread for posting this. Sorry.

Ya know what really makes me mad about the patch coming out NOW? I found out on the exact same day on my first day at the University! Are you guys TRYING to flunk me?! :P

Jokes aside, thank you SO much for all your hard work! I tried out the game last night, and it works like a charm! Again, THANK YOU!! :D

Perhaps try mounting it in Daemon Tools and then burning the content in the virtual drive as an .iso?

Thanks again guys, I feel that my words don't have enough value or meaning to them so I said thanks again!

Everything works perfect for me, great work guys!

One thing that I miss though: What happened to the second intro, the short text summary of the story's beginning that had some serious Engrish in it? I thought you intended to correct it. Have you disabled it completely?
