Big news for Mac OS X users! We can now play an English version of Snatcher natively in our OS! I asked the guy who ported fMSX to Mac OS X, Richard Bannister, to restore support for RAM expansions, which had not yet been ported from the Unix version of fMSX. The new version of the emulator just came out today, and English MSX Snatcher runs! Get it here! And of course, grab English Snatcher here!

And everyone plays WOW, so everyone knows that. Common sense :P
Anyway, good news for every MAC OS user, I suppose ^^

Tips for running the game-

-Are you sure it's hanging? The Disk 0 screen is graphically messed up, but it works fine. You probably have to set the RAM size higher- that's what was keeping the game from running in earlier versions of the emulator's OS X port! I put it as high as it can go (4 MB) just to be safe.

-Don't select the SCC+. Stay with the SCC; SCC+ emulation isn't implemented in the OS X port of fMSX yet (for some asinine reason, I'm sure). You'll get crappy, PSG-only sound if you pick the SCC+.

-Don't run it fullscreen- when I do, it locks up within about fifteen minutes and I have to force quit it. Probably caused by that annoying window that pops up every so often begging me to pay for the emulator (yes, the Mac OS X port of fMSX is shareware). I just make the window as big as possible- works fine, and no lockups.
