Release date for Subsistence in Europe is 6th October. Don´t trust me? look at amazon.co.uk or Gamefaq

I DON'T TRUST YOU but I had a look at Amazon and you are right and NOW I TRUST YOU AGAIN. It's taken so long to get here that I've just totally lost interest by this point - I'd also just be paying twenty-six quid for the first two Metal Gear games, as the rest of it doesn't look particularly appealing. It doesn't look like we're getting any exclusive extras either, does it?

I heard Saga will be included in all copies of the game, but that might just be another Internet rumor.

I'm strongly hoping for that rumour to be true.

I once went to Gamefaq.com by mistake many years ago in school. Thank god the librarian wasn't nearby at the time.

Anyone know what age rating it recieved. I noticed how the review copy had a 15 from the BBFC, but i've seen a few supposed box arts with an 18+ from PEGI.

I'd expect it would be the same as Snake Eater.

I seen the box cover on the european website, there it has a picture of the box cover and it´s rated 18+.

That´s not preventing me for buying it though

It usually wouldn't prevent me either, but I did get asked for ID about 2 weeks ago, first time that's happened since I bought Resident Evil 4 on Gamecube, and that time I was over the age on the box. But yeah, i'll pick it up on my way home on Friday, I just hope I don't get asked.

Infact, I won't, I didn't get asked on Saturday in the store i'll be buying it in.

My copy was despatched from Gameplay, today. Judging from my previous pre-orders from the site, it might already be at my house. I haven't been home yet, though.

No fanfare from KP this time, it seems.

Well, I didn't even realise MGS:DGN was out over here until I ordered it yesterday.

You mean european only stuff?

No, I meant they usually mention the release of games in the media when their release dates are approaching. Nothing on their website about it, either.

Got my copy today. It's rated BBFC 15. It comes in a large 3-disc DVD box like some PC games. (Doom 3, Command and Conquer: The First Decade, etc.) The instruction manual is quite large, too (nothing compared to the Japanese one, though).

Would you be able to take some pictures?

Not without borowing equipment from friends, and it's a bit late for that considering the official release is tomorrow. I can see if I can get my scanner working if you're very interested, but I don't know if it's worth the hassle.

No, it's okay. I'm sure they'll be available somewhere else.

I think the server might be Europe-only (there's speciffic rooms for different European countries, and there's only 97 people online at the moment). That means that I can't take on anyone with an American copy of the game. :( As you may have guessed though, I also have a Japanese copy, so I can play against people from two different regions!

So america can play against japanese players but Europe and only play against europe?

As far as I knew, America could not play against Japan.

Well, I'd be willing to test it out with anyone who has an American copy of the game.
