Was wondering, and hoping you will be honest about this; how much is the game worth? Is it priceless? It is the Japanese version; factory sealed, never opened and the case is in in perfect condition. Please price it for me. Thank you.

$30ish is about what it goes for on ebay, not that that is necessarily how much it is worth.

It's cheaper on the UK eBay, in my experience. I bought my copy for around £7.

Well I got this copy for MUCH more! I got it for £30! And that was the cheapest copy at the time! Please note; this is NOT the PAL version, but the Japanese NTSC version which includes a collectors card and i only had it for a back up for my other copy; meaning I have never opened it, so it's brand new really. I think this should snatch (sorry  ) at least my money back; £30.

I know. I have both the Saturn version and the UK Mega-CD version. The Mega-CD version was significantly more expensive. I think the Saturn version came from a Japanese seller who had easy access to the games (he had many copies).

I bought a mint complete SS Snatcher for the equivalent of $2 in Tokyo. Some stores can be gold mines over there. I wasn't even looking for it, I just saw it and couldn't pass it up at that price. That happened a lot; I have a ton of games I bought there that I've hardly played since (Ace Combat 3, Tobal 2, Final Tantasy Tactics, Dragon Force...). One tends to go overboard with prices like that.

I too have a few copies of the SS Snatcher bought in differing game stores across Japan - the idea - combine all the best condition elements into the most minty copy around (besides a sealed one) - I think mine cost around £5-£7ish - but they were complete, stickers and all. They're not especially hard to come by - condition does make a difference in price.

It's the merchandise you need to shell out bigtime for, and the MSX versions - my copy of Snatcher no subete cost around £40ish and that was in a glass cabinet along with the PCE guide I also snapped up. The original print run of Snatcher (drama) with obi was going for around £80 - it's crazy that I was actually considering buying a near carbon copy of something I already had! - Alas, my brain kicked back in.

The problems with auctions are A) competition, and B) over valued (and therefore setting the future value) items. It's the price you pay...

IMO, Snatcher IS worth £30 though.
