Unfortunately, it's with Ryan Payton rather than Kojima or Yamamoto, but it clears up a lot of details that some may have been worried about-

Patton is good enough for me. He's really informative in the interviews I find, which can be both good and bad. (Telling too much sometimes and telling us what we want).

I guess he's the mouthpiece right now because he can easily hold an English language interview with IGN. I found it an interesting article and I'm hopeful we'll see more of these backstory games in the future. For me MPO will certainly be a PSP killer ap-- it's literally the only reason I'm buying the system in a week. Frankly, I think the PSP and future derivations will be the ideal spot for the MGS franchise to live on. Kojima can certainly still write stories, scenarios some script and basic design elements of the games while handing them over to his development teams, which is what he's always wanted to do with MGS titles since he finished SOL. Obviously he's too emotionally connected with the series to just watch it devolve into ubiquitous reinventions the way other game franchises have, but the amount of detachment he has on these titles is enough to let him work on different projects while reining everything in just enough to keep them within his authorship.

The only real problem I have with Payton is that he isn't a creative force behind the games, and can't say much about development, themes, previous games or future ideas. He's a nice enough guy, but the interviews don't reveal much that you wouldn't expect to be written in the instruction manual.
