A lot of the PC Engine music is what you find on Zoom Tracks (the CD music, anyway). I don't know if the PCM music was ever included on a music CD.

Yes, that is correct, but I would like to have all of the PC Engine tracks, just like I do for the SEGA CD version.

I'll think you'll just have to rip them.

As in simply the direct track rips off of the PC Engine's game? Or the audio separated tracks you can rip with ISO buster including both and some dialogue and most of the music?

Question about the Sega CD/PC-E redbook audio --
The CD music in the background when Gillian meets Random (Faded Memories?) I haven't found on any Snatcher music release. On Zoom, Track 9 - Faded Memories seems to be a remix of the in-game track.
I was wondering if this track from the Sega CD ver is isolated (w/o vocals) on the PC-E? Or is this track available anywhere?

That track is the same, only with an intro not inputted into the final game.
Go here:

Or Galbadia Hotel should have it. Let me do a bit of searching for the track, I know I have it somewhere (I have all of the tracks for the Sega CD and PC Engine versions).

The track where Gillian meets random is different on sega cd, the pcengine version is faded memories and is exactly the same on zoom tracks.

It's kind of a waste of time though shifting through all of the recorded Redbook Data on the PC Engine CD (as well as the Sega CD) -last time I remember ripping the audio from my copy of Snatcher CD-Romantic I ended up trashing it (the files) because it included character audio I didn't need.
There's numerous variations indeed -but no isolated tracks worth keeping on the Sega CD port. I went searching for the genuine theme of "Blow Up Tricycle" all over my Sega CD version of Snatcher (without the dialogue) and it lead to only two things: Jack and shit... and Jack sadly left town I was told during my search.
P.S. Btw thanks for the HES directory Kaminari!

I always loved that line in Army of Darkness.
Figures the PC-E CD is the same w/ the char audio like that. Tears.
I actually used all the SEGA CD red book + Geneis-composed music to make one 80 minute Snatcher "story." Like the 1980 Flash Gordon soundtrack if you've ever heard that, basically like listening to a condensed version of the whole flick. I wonder why none of the Modnar scenes were done w/ red book and just Genesis audio...
The un-dialogued Blow Up Tricycle is called Triumphal Arch on the Snatcher + SD Perfect Selection, right? And I guess there's nowhere to find Random + Gillian meeting w/o speech then.
edit: In looking up whether "red book" audio is one word or two, I finally learned where the crap the term came from, lol. And that multiple major companies are producing now discs that violate the since-1980 standard, which they could technically be sued for.

Listen, that site link I just gave you,
http://justinaaron.com/thekremlin/main1.html has
every single SEGA CD track, without the dialogue, in very high quality! Just click on the music tab and scroll to the very bottom of the music page, where it includes all of the tracks for download on SEGA CD (right click and then save as)!

Site is sweet, but all the SCD stuff there is the chip audio -- the red book I wanted must not exist cos HorseFactory said the SCD ver is different, so it wouldn't probably appear on any JP CDs anyway.

Well, at least you got the audio you wanted, right? (Sure not in the right format, but still, good music, eh?) Better than nothing I think.
