Thoughts on the line-up shown at Gamer's Day? I was pretty unimpressed, but the same goes for most games I see today.

Woah nelly, woah-- Is the Rondo of Blood remake new news to anyone but me??? I'd cop that in a flash if they kept the redbook audio, or at least had an option to change it... New Castlevania music irks me...

The 2.5 remake looks like puke. And apparently you have to finish it in order to unlock the original! Urgghh...

I was happy about it, and I'll buy it because I am a sucker for that kind of thing. It doesn't look that bad to my eyes, and I was glad they kept it as close to the original as possible. I also noticed that the music is fully digitized, as opposed to the mixed synthesized and red book audio. Which is a mixed bag.
I love the original, and I appreciate they tryied to offer some extra value and not just repackage it. It could be better, yes.

Well, that sucks donkey ****. Why wouldn't they have it like the PS port of the PC engine remake of the original (what a sentence)?

Not bad line up, but there's more to come on Monday, isn't there?

Yeah. Speaking of the lineup, the only games, that got me intersted are the new Castlevania for the PSP, and Dance Dance Revolution Universe for the X360

Kinda funny, I sent Konami a letter about a year and a half ago, asking if they were ever going to re-release it, and about 6 months ago, asking Kojima if he'd ever re-release policenauts...never got a reply about either, yet here we are...maybe he'll release Policenauts in a year, if my luck holds out...

I wouldn't hold my breath about Konami and Policenauts. They completely ignore all such letters, believe me.

Yeah, but they also "Ignored" my letter about Rondo...I never got a response, and now it's coming out...It probably wasn't my doing, but it doesn't hurt, right? And besides, what do we care? The patch'll be out soon, and none of their ignorance will matter anymore.

Me Neither, although it would be nice, to see it released, along with Snatcher.

lol... I don't think Kojima would just release his (arguably) favourite creation just as a side to something else. That being said, the time to release it alone has faaaar passed... Guys... You're our only hope!

DDR on the Wii sounds interesting/disturbing.

I find it hard enough with just the mat, now they want to add hand movement too?

Did you guys see this? A Konami arcade collection for DS ... Gradius, Track & Field, Contra, 12 other games. It's got all the dip switches and settings from each original machine though, you can just flick them w/ the touch screen, haha.\
That's a nice idea, hopefully more arcade comps will include those.
