Neat little site; Beyond Coast

Aside from Junker HQ (and Policenauts.net), this is my favourite site for Policenauts;
http://beyondcoast.8m.com
Whatever happened to the guy that made it? There was SO much content on it (plenty of hard work was put into this one more so than any other site I have seen about the game), and it got scrapped with no clue as to why that is. Strange.

Yeah, that site was built by a friend of mine, Kris. We actually met after he started that thread on Konami's forums about 7 years ago, so we're good friends thanks to Policenauts, haha. He's actually going to be a tester for the patch. He's still around, just not on the Internet so much these days. His website is
http://www.kristofferpickett.com/. Be sure to check out some episodes of his videogame TV show, Gamer's Edge (under Video). He also did write-ups on Snatcher and Policenauts (under Games).

Yeah, it's a great website full of great content, it's one of most detailed sites I have seen for a game actually despite its age; full of screenshots, information and great features. That other site you gave me was good as well, he knows how to apply good knowledge on things, and make them interesting at the same time. Good read, thanks.

I just went through the screenshot section of beyondcoast.8m.com again...I'll noticed that during the game too, but I wasn't sure until now.
The guy on the right...isn't that the same outfit that Jonathan is wearing? Any reason for that?
Yep Kris is still around...

Yeah I am still around... I seem to lurk more than post these days. I really enjoyed putting that site together... but like so many things in life it seems I lost the ability to keep the site updated after a while... to much going on in life. Its kind of interesting in all honesty though to see that people still go to the site and get something out of it!

Aha, so you're the owner! Great site! I used your pictures for Wikipedia's Policenauts page for the characters, hope you don't mind me doing so. I gave your site, full credit and added you onto the links page of the portion of the site.
It's actually the only site in existence that concentrates on Policenauts on its own, aside from the UK Policenauts page! Shadow Moses.net is gone now.

No I don't mind at all... its good to see all that hard work go to something useful after all this time. Nice job on the wiki page by the way!

Thanks very much.
I could do with sprucing up the Snatcher page a bit more...never gets any lovin', unfortunately.

Snatcher page...? This may sound like a very ignorant question but which Snatcher page do you work on? Oh and your very welcome about the pics!

Ah, it's not ignorant at all man, my bad. I meant the Snatcher wiki page, that's all. As for having my own webpage, well, aside from moderating Shenmue Dojo, there ain't much else I do with the net besides come on here and TUS...
I need to get my own page, once I get a job that is, then I can pay for the hosting and get on the go. I already have my idea for it, so I'll let you guys know what it will be in the near future.

Your the moderator of the Shenmue Dojo? I must say then you have an excellent site there... I consider myself quite a fan of that series, and Yu Suzuki in general, damn shame about what Adam Doree recently revealed to you... I had hoped that Sega would see fit to release Shenmue 3, especially in the way that it was speculated to be released, with all 3 games put together in one game. But honestly common sense seems to have abandoned Sega since the Dreamcast era, and even more so since Sammy took over, but Shenmue was always one of my fondest memories on that console. So from one Shenmue fan to the next, thank you sir for what you are doing with your page... that is a game that certainly does not deserve to be forgotten.

Thanks very much for the kind comments.
Although it isn't my page, I only moderate the Forums and add content to the site. You should recognise my name on the Forums when you go there, since I havr the same name there that I do here. "Hellraiser" is the owner of the site, and continues to add content to it, even to this day.
I feel exactly as you do about everything. Sega, Shenmue, Dreamcast, Sammy, Yu Suzuki, The Shenmue Dojo. All of it.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts though, it is appreciated. Anybody who likes Snatcher, Policenauts
and Shenmue is surely a man with good taste!
