Sega Saturn emulation has not been as good as one would expect it to be... The best being Giri Giri, although I have had bad experiance with it. Your best bet is to suck it up and buy a US Saturn and use the swap trick

How does that swap trip work exactly? I was just going to bite the bullet and go out and get a Saturn modchip, but as I understand it they are pretty model-specific and it's hard to make sure you're getting the right one.

Its a lot easier to just buy an Action Replay, but later I will try to find the Swap Trick (For models 1 and 2)

I've never used a Saturn emulator, but usually when an emu says Bios error, that means that you don't have the required bios ROMS for the system.

eerr what does that mean? does it mean the policenauts rom is corrupr or i need to loo for bios for the sega saturn?

Again, I'm guessing, but it sounds like you need a BIOS ROM for the Sega Saturn. Look around for one. Once you've found one. But the file in the directory specified by the emulator.

You may have to mount the ISO (not ROM

) using Daemon Tools, and configure the emu to read that drive, or if all else fails, buy the game with an action replay cart!

In your first post in this thread you said you haveone cd (you need a couple more BTW). Try using that one in the drive and search for other BIOS images (which are illegal BTW if you don't have a real aturn). Use that BIOS in the emulator configuratiuon meanu, and try to "boot" from the cd drive.
Anyway, as said before the saturn emulation is not really good right now.

Or you could buy a Japanese Saturn. They're veeeeeery inexpensive.

You can get Cassini as well, which runs the game well (although not as good as Giri-Giri, especially since Cassini is just a hacked Giri-Giri to begin with). Your best bet is just to play the actual game on an actual Saturn.

I'm sure you're just being sarcastic, since I only paid about $50 for my import Saturn. I mean, the games I bought cost more than the system itself (damn Radiant Silvergun). Yeah, you should definitely pick up an import off of eBay if you can. Spare yourself the trouble of emulating.

he was being quite direct he said "very inexpensive" =)
And I can confirm that, they are between 10 and 20 at any Akihabara store....

Oh damn, you're right. I need to pay more attention to the actual word in question. I was looking more at the "veeeeeeeeeery" thinking he was trying to be sarcastic writing like that.

Does anyone know how to do the swap trick on a Saturn? Do you need to remove the case?
Does Action Replay do the same thing?

Im just going to play it on PSX, it seems alot easier than going out and getting a Saturn, plus, if im not mistakin, Policenauts is cheaper for the PSX than the Saturn

And the graphics are better on the PSX, but the light gun support isn't there, and the info database (but unless you read Japanese, that shouldn't make much difference).
The Action replay thing for Saturn isn't disc swapping per se, you whack the cart in the expansion slot, and turn it on, and then follow the instructions. You can just open the lid and stick in your import game.

The graphics?? I thought it was just the FMV that was better than the Saturn version, because they used MPE-2 format for the anime cutscenes in the Saturn version. But the framerate for the Saturn version is higher and you do get those extra scenes and a few extra secrets. As for the database, you could always just buy the Private isc if you wanted to have it for your PSX. I don't consider it too much of a big deal (though I can't read Japanese).

FMVs, graphics, that's what I meant. As for the framerate, I don't know about that, but when I played it on my Saturn I got the impression that it looked better on the PSX. That's only my opinion though, and it's been a while since I played.
