Favourite easter eggs/hidden stuff in the game. *SPOILERS*

If i had to narrow it down, i would choose these three:
*WARNING! SPOILERS BELOW! (but i'm guessing most people here have already completed the game several times anyways)*
*Wining and Dining on the company dime.
At Outer Heaven, you can order several drinks and servings of bufallo meat. You can order each item three times, and when you leave, you get a hefty bar tab. Gillian uses the company cash to pay for his whittles. And if you head for Junker HQ, and Chief Cunninghams office, the Chief scolds Gillian for "wining and dining at our expense". It's hillarious!
*Neo Kobe Pizza.
If you look around before you head into Platos Cavern, you can eventually order Neo Kobe Pizza from a street vendor. A hillarious cutscene follows.
*Gillian the murderer. (Thanks to The Kremlin for telling about this)
After you finish the final boss in the game (the hords of Insectors and Snatchers at the Kremlin), you open the final door, and you see a silhouete of Jamie. If you do nothing, the game ends as normal, but if you shoot the shadow, you end up killing Jamie, and you get a short cutscene, and then the Game Over screen.
Well, that's only a few of my favourites. I know a lot more, and i'm sure you know them all too. Feel free to share them. Who knows? We might learn a few new ones!

I would also pick the udon stand (I think they changed it to ramen in the English version) in Alton Plaza, and also the retinal fortune teller (Acts 1 and 2).
In the Japanese version, they have a gocha gocha machine (the little capsules with toys inside) in the street outside the store in Plato's Cavern. Gillian sees a machine with bugs and reptiles for toys and says he wants to try and win a good one to scare Mika. So he goes over to it and this is basically what happens.
G: Got any coins, Metal?
M: What do you need, a 10 credit one? Fine.
G: Let's see if I can get that big spider there. I wanna scare Mika. Okay, here we go... <<turn, turn>>
M: There it is! What is it?
G: A stupid fly. Damn!
M: What a waste. Not much point keeping that, is there?
G: Gimme another coin.
M: This money is for necessary expenses only, Gillian...
G: Come on, cockroach! <<turn, turn>>
M: What did you get this time?
G: A mosquito. I don't believe this!
M: Poor Gillian. You just don't have any luck, do you?
G: Okay, one more time.
M: This is the last time, Gillian.
G: Come on, lizard! <<turn, turn>>
M: Well?
G: Man, another stupid fly. This sucks!
G: This is the last time, I promise. I just know I'll get something good this time.
M: This is it, Gillian, all right?
G: Come on, scorpion! <<turn, turn>>
M: Any success?
G: ...
M: What did you get?
G: A fly, another stupid fly.
(if you encountered the fly at the abandoned factory)
M: I think flies must like you, Gillian. Remember what happened back at the factory?
G: Yeah, well...the feeling isn't mutual.
I think they could have kept it in and it would have worked. I guess they took it out because they didn't think people would know what the machines were? It'll be in the PCE version translation, though.

lol, that capsule thing sounds fun. Too bad it wasn't in the english Sega CD version.
Hey, the fortune teller from the second act, how do you get to see that one? So far, i've only manage to see the one from the first act.

I love checking out the other Konami Characters in Outer Heaven, and the things they say to you when you investigate them. Does anybody know which version(s) and where the Twinbee cameos are? I heard that Light and Pastel (Twinbee and Winbee's pilots) are in Outer Heaven, but it's obviously a version other than Sega CD or PC Engine.

Just keep looking and investigating everything when you go there to look for Katrina in Act 2.

Reminds me of Shenmue, except Gillians not talking to himself, unlike Ryo.
Sounds great, looking forward to that next project after Policenauts.
A particular favourite secret of mine is finding Jamie and Benson wandering the shopping streets together, it leads to many questions to be asked later on, and interesting reactions.
I also really liked it if you kept on pestering Katrina when you first meet her, so hilarious.

lol, yeah. I did that thing with Katrina once, by misstake. I figured "what's the harm?", but then she threw me out. I went back to Junker HQ, and i got scolded by everyone there. After that i loaded a previous save and tried again. Is it possible to reconsile with Katrina? Because she wouldn't let me in.
That thing with finding Benson and Jamie, is that in the Sega CD version? I've never seen it before, or heard about it for that matter.
Osiris wrote:Just keep looking and investigating everything when you go there to look for Katrina in Act 2.
I figured it was there. Thanks for the tip.
One question though. Can you still see her in Act 2 if you have already seen her in Act 1?

Yes, you can reconcile with Katrina, you just have to keep knocking on the door until she relents.
The Cunningham and Jamie thing is in the S/Mega CD version, you just have to keep searching Alton Plaza. There's also an option to "Pick Up Girls" you can get while you're doing that. (And a few lines of dialogue about "Micheal Jaxson.

)
As far as I'm aware you
have to see the Fortune Teller in Act 1 to get her to appear in Act 2.
I know it's off topic, but does anyone have a save from just before you talk to the Fortune Teller in Act 2?

Those little details are one of the reasons I started making text dumps.
regarding Jaimie and Benson:
M: Ah! What's that?
G: What's wrong?
M: It's Jamie! Jamie is over there
with a man!
G: Ah!! Jamie!!
M: Who is that with her...
G: It's... It's the Chief!
M: That is definitely the Chief.
G: ..........
M: What could this be all about?
G: ..........
M: Gillian, aren't you going to go
after them?
G: ..........
M: Gillian.... Oh.. Now they are
gone.
G: ...I can't believe Jamie is seeing
the Chief...
M: Don't worry about it Gillian,
everything will work out...
G: ...I'm in shock...
M: It was probably just a couple who
looked liked them, right?
G: I'd like to believe that.
G: Metal, don't you tell anybody
about this.
G: This will be our own little secret.

Are there really lines about Jacko? BTW, Reborn, I LOVE your avatar! Would you happen to know where to find the pic that that's part of at it's full-res?

0x44db: Look, there's a street performer
over there.
0x4508: Why don't we go take a look?
0x4525: I know this guy! I think Ive seen
him doing this before. It looks
like Michael Jaxson. I always
wondered what happened to him.
0x45a6: Gillian, I don't believe this is a
performance. Why is he touching
himself in that manner?
0x4602: I think there is something wrong
with him. He may be dangerous.
Let's move away.

Oh yeah, now i remember that one with Jamie and the Chief! I remember seeing that one in the game. And i'll have to look for that one with Jacko.
Another one that my brother discovered was a bit more dramatic one. If you look/investigate/talk to (you know the rutine) to the freemen outside of Ivan Rodriges appartment enough times, you will eventually learn about one of them who was supposedly "dumped" there by his son and his family. You will eventually learn the asshole son's video phone number, and be able to call him. It's a nice dramatic/mushy scene, and a nice tune is played.
I would like to know more about that thing in Platos Cavern/Joy Division that was supposedly cut from the Sega CD version. Seeing as i've only played through the Sega CD version, i haven't seen that one before. Could anyone post a description or maybe even a video of it?

Don't forget the questions about it afterwards when you use the videophone to ring Jamie, you may also enquire with Benson himself about it.

I'm sorry, but I got this picture from the Avatar Gallery, so I don't know where it came from.

From the style, I'd guess it originally came from the "We Love Snatcher" site, which closed down, I think.

Thanks for posting my video.:p
There are so much secrets in Snatcher, some of them I first discovered during my 5th or 6th playthrough.
For example, just a few days ago, I found out that Cunningham will have a little talk with you about sexual harrasment, if you keep harrasing Mika while she's showing you around headquarters and then visit the chief again, before you meet Harry for the first time.

I'm not sure if it is an easter egg, but I did love the line that went like..
Metal Gear: "She's not a bug, Gillian!" or something, when you search for Katrina under a rug.

Hahahaha. That video looked fun. Too bad i couldn't understand a word of it.
It's a shame it's not in the english Sega CD version. Oh well... All things considered, we got off pretty good when it came to the censorship. We even got to see all of Alice's guts! Not that i approve of animal cruelty, i just hate censorship...
Hmmm... That's weird... Showing a slashed dog with it's guts and blood hanging out is okay, but a joke about porn without getting to see any nudity is not allowed? The world is a fucked-up place.

??:

Well, I'm not really sure if this is an Easter Egg, but when you enter "Otani" on JORDAN, and get a profile for Masanori Otani, the message he leaves is "Shoot me in Lethal Enforcers". Otani-san plays one of the enemies in Lethal Enforcers. He plays those guys in the purple suits from the Chinatown Level, and that's what that message is making reference too. I can't find a photo of him on the net anywhere other than his digitized image from LE. Maybe if I had the kanji or other japanese writing of his name I could copy and paste it into Google search engine and have a better chance or something.
EDIT:I also wasn't aware 'til just now that there was a reference to Sailor Moon made my "Kenji Shinohara" when you look him up.

By the way, what's the left mask at Joy Division in the PC-Engine version supposed to be?

I happened to also watch your video showing the shower scene. Your description of the game here had me laughing to tears, so I'll copy and paste it here for all to enjoy:
Snatcher is a Lolicon dating Sim, in the year 2042 a mysterious bioroid lifeform, the Snatchers, appear in Neo Kobe City, they kill men of influence, copy their appearence, take their place in society and start having sex with children to diminish the reputation of those who they're impersonating and their associates. Thus they're destroying our society, because it appears that every welthy, influencial person has had sex with children and the people loose trust in the government.
Gillian Seed, the main character, member of the new formed JunkerHQ, a organization to deal with the Snatcher problem, is trying to root out the Snatcher problem, but due to his little sidekick, the perverted robot Metal Gear, he starts to become just like a Snatcher. So now the real battle begins, who is the better child molester? Humans or robots?
In this scene Gillian is trying to score with Gibsons underaged daughter.

It looks like Dr. Doom, but I'm not positive. Just a guess.

Someone guessed that on YouTube as well, but I sincerely doubt it. I've never seen Doom with a black cowl, yellow eyes and red mouth. I think it is something Japanese and virtually unknown elsewhere.

Another thing that's kinda amusing is how three people from Konami that you look up on Alpha One say their favorite game is a Tiny Toons game. Strangely enough, not only did Konami make various games with that license as we may all know so well, but the girl who does Babs Bunny in the japanese dub of Tiny Toon Adventures also plays Mika Slayton in the PC Engine version.
