.....Well okay, I'm lying..... But I'm not lying about one of the games I recently purchased:Konami Antiques - MSX Collection, for the Sega Saturn. This is probably as close as I'll ever get to owning a real MSX computer since it never came out in the USA.

The games on it are:

- Konami's Boxing
- Konami's Ping Pong
- Hyper Sports 2
- Hyper Sports 3
- Konami's Golf
- Konami's Billiards
- Konami's Tennis
- Konami's Soccer
- Konami Rally
- Road Fighter
- Sky Jaguar
- Gradius
- Ambition of Gofer
- Super Cobra
- TwinBee
- Gradius 2
- Time Pilot
- Paradius
- Salamander
- Mopiranger
- Antarctic Adventure
- Penguin Adventure
- Yie Ar KUNG-FU
- Yie Ar KUNG-FU 2
- Athletic Land
- Magical Tree
- Knightmare
- Comic Bakery
- Pippols
- King's Valley

Probably most of the games on there I won't play, because not all of the MSX games I've played, but many of them looked like crap. Oh well, at least it's got Salamander and Twinbee on it. :D But that's not saying much, because those versions of the games had flaws, like the background movement is REALLY choppy. But at least I can play those versions without having to fire up and emulator now. :D I wonder if Gradius on this collection has a cheat code for the trick to let you play the game as Twinbee from on an actual MSX computer when you put Gradius in the first cartridge slot, and Twinbee in the second one.

Misleading thread titles aren't cool, man. And yes, the MSX collection for Saturn is nice- I remember playing it and finding all kinds of crazy-ass Konami games that are long forgotten.

I wish they would have also done a MSX2 Collection for the Sega Saturn (and PS1). That could have been an awesome compilation with games like Vampire Killer, Contra (MSX version), Ganbare Goemon, and of course, both Metal Gear titles and SD Snatcher.

The MSX Collection is also OK though. Apart from those classic shootem'up you commented, you also have Kojima's Penguin Adventure.

I'd say the Konami Antiques - MSX Collection is one of the better compilations I've seen. Like Wesker said, Konami should consider making another collection, but, the problem is, it wouldn't reach the US unless the company wanted to spend the resources to translate most of the games.

Whatever happened to the "1chipMSX?" It was supposed to be an MSX clone with SD and USB ports. I was really eager to get one (I know Artemio and possibly a couple other members of these forums were, too). My Sony MSX2 HitBit is falling apart, and I'd love to be able to replace it with new hardware. I pre-ordered one with no deposit, but I don't know if they've manufactured them, yet. They were supposed to come out in March, if I recall correctly.

One collection I always wanted to see was a NES/Famicom collection for the Gamecube. That would've been awesome.

The Virtual Console on the Wii keeps me satisfied for that.

Yeah, same here. I was just talking about back in the day though.

EDIT:Holy shit. I got the game in the mail today, and I didn't even mail any payment out yet!
