Also beat the Naruto 360 game not too long back.
Same here. I did beat Eternal Sonata. One question though, did you do the Unison laberynth? If not, go back to it before doing that second run.
EDIT: Just checked your achievements. I see you missed it, just like I did. Simply go out to the dunes, walk three or four screens to the right and you will be on the Unison. You can only enter it with a key given to you on the top levels of the "final" labyrinth. You'll squeeze a few more hours from it =P

I just completed Michigan: Report from Hell (the rare PAL version). Dreadful game. Looking at the credits though, Kiichi Tagawa and Akira Ueda are to blame, rather than Goichi Suda. Suda only came up with the idea, which was a good one. I don't think he had much to do with development at all.
According to the message at the end, I am "A person with common sense who has average skill and has a strong belief in rationalism". That's what I get for letting all but two of the reporters die?
Seems you unlock a swimsuit for the reporter that you complete the game with. I completed the game with the only male reporter.
Yeah, I just wanted to beat the game and get to the 2nd playthrough. I'll definitely be going there the 2nd time through, although I hear that part is a royal pain, so I'm probably not going to even think of going there until I get my team up to around the LEVEL 70 range.
When I first purchased the Wii back in Christmas 2006, one of the few launch titles I considered buying was Ubisoft's Red Steel - a first person shooter which was stated to fully utilise the control mechanisms and features of the new controller setup. In the end I opted for Wii Play, which came with a free remote. However, I can safely say that I'm glad that I didn't buy Red Steel. A few weeks ago now, I borrowed the game from one of my relatives, who himself is a loyal Nintendo fan. He praised the game, saying it was "fun" and "enjoyable". Mind you, those are two words which I personally would not use to describe this game. Upon successfully negotiating my way through the unnecessarily tricky main menu, with the ticket grabbing and nameless logos that didn't tell me what they were for, I was away and rolling with the opening scene.
Apparently, I was some Japanese-American who was dating some Ada Wong wannabe chick, the daughter of a Yakuza kingpin or something like that. I never cared about that kind of stuff. Anyway, we're going out for some fine meal at a charming dining establishment and the first thing I noticed were the controls, they were difficult to get the hang of at first, and at times slow and unresponsive - especially when compared to Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. We'll skip past the fish watching and get straight into combat. It's here where the game unfortunately falls apart for me, while it's a different way of playing, it's really just a first stab at creating a control system for the Wii. Gunfights aren't bad, but it's the sword fighting that really lets the game down. All you have to do is swing wildly with the remote and you'll be slicing your opponent's abdominal regions open and juggling his kidneys in no time.
Opening doors becomes a chore, since you have to flick the nunchuck upwards as though you're actually opening a door - even though I've never personally opened a door by giving it an uppercut. However, it'd be unfair to say that the entire system is flawed, there are elements which do work well - knocking over tables for example, and picking up weapons. Graphically, the game is more high-end PS2, but I'm not going to judge it on graphics - since the Wii is more of a system around gameplay, rather than graphics.
Each level is segmented by a comic-esque graphic novel sequence, the voice acting could use some work but the actual animations of the actual "comic" are pretty good. They reminded me of the MGS: Digital Graphic Novel for the PSP. Anyway, Red Steel is an average game at best. Its job was to introduce gamers to a new way of playing, but whether or not it succeeded at putting across a positive image, I'll leave that up to you. If you can look past the shaky control setup then you'll have some fun with this, there's plenty of action to keep you entertained, and you can get into some pretty hectic gunfights too. Worth a rental, but not a purchase. Oh, and get used to the word "gaijin". You'll be hearing it a LOT.

You should go before starting the second run. Otherwise you won't be able to do most of the extra stuff on the second run.

My pal and I just beat Zack & Wiki. Its a fun game- some challenge here and there.
I need to finally finish Skies of Arcadia... (DC)
Been playing the hell out of NBA Jam TE on MAME. The 2.0 version that has the Mortal Kombat characters in it. Super fun! Also Street Fighter 3 is taking up more time (at work no less! LOL!) then it should.

I played Michigan again, but with a friend this time. That game is unintentionally hilarious. Particularly notable moments are the "floating" pillow that adds to your Suspense meter, the sound man's speech about how he wanted a giant freezer full of Ice Cream ("MMMM!!!") and the pornographic magazine in the trash that the game finds "Erotic".
Very stupid game and I wouldn't recommend you buy it, but it's almost as funny as "Space Pirates".

I really really liked it. I hope Project S results in a sequel of some sort. It would transfer to a next gen FPS so easily. Even if that doesn't happen, Snatcher on it's own is perfect.
I liked Gillian alot, his VA was perfect. He was probably my favourite character, him and Cunningham. It's gotten me so hyped for Policenauts as well. Probably a 9.7 outta 10 if I had to give it a score.
Favorite Game: Shenmue I, MGS, Snatcher, Zelda: Ocarina Of Time.

You always liked Kojima's older stuff a lot (MGS/MG1 and 2).
It's his best stuff
Did you like the references to Metal Gear 2, with Modnar (Madnar in the Japanese versions)? What is it with Russian scientists and megalomania?
Yeah, and Elijah was a lot more interesting than Ellen in terms of Madnar/Modnar's (I'm used to calling him Madnar) offspring. I really loved it when Harry unveiled Metal Gear and a tune extremely similar to the music from the original Metal Gear played.
Lots of 4th wall breaks too, people seem to have in the long run forgotten about their appearance in Snatcher and focused more on Metal Gear's (esp. MGS1's).
Glad you enjoyed it. I thought you would. Policenauts uses a graphic adventure-style point and click interface instead of commands, and arcade-style shooting, i.e., not a 3x3 grid. I guess you could call it a sci fi buddy cop story set on a space colony, whereas I would call Snatcher a cyberpunk buddy cop story set in a metropolis.

Why is it that Rog is always backup when Riggs drowns/gets eaten by a shark/takes in an inhuman number of bullets? Why can't I have my awesome Capcom/Sega two player action beat 'em up with gut busting humour!!?? Ocean, YOU SUCK!!!
That game looks cool as shit. I can't believe I never played it.

*WHEEEEEZE* Gahahahahaa! It's probably better than the SNES one, hah~ I liked the fact that you could change between physical attacks and using yer gun, but it wasn't executed anywhere near what it shoulda' been. It also doesn't make a lot of sense for Rog to be fist-fighting people either.
Just finished Naruto Ultimate Ninja 2 (aka Narutimate Ninja 2) today. I figured since the 3rd game is coming to the U.S. in March that I'd finally get around to finish 2. The only reason I took so long is because I had so many other games on my platter like GH3, Rock Band, Eternal Sonata and quite a few others getting in the way. Personally, I'm waiting on the 4th installment which is a huge improvement over the first 3.

I just downloaded it off of vimm.net and I played it for about a minute. It sucks, though. I start out as Riggs automatically with no sign of Murtaugh at all. No selection screen either, just starts me off at the first stage once I press start. Maybe it is two players if the second controller presses start or something. Who knows?

I told you it fucking sucks! There actually isn't an option for a second player, the menu just says "PRESS START BUTTON", no options, jamming on the 2nd player's start button in-game does nothing...
Here's a question, to anyone here really, how the hell would you do a Lethal Weapon game? If you had reigns in Ocean back in 1988 with a whole lotta chronologically incorrect technology, would you be all like WOOO JUMP ON IT!! (?)
Hahaha, you're right. It does suck pretty bad. Can't judge a book by it's cover I guess. And if I was to make a Lethal Weapon game in 1988 I would make it a side scrolling fighter like it originally was, but I'd make it 2-players, and actually follow the storyline of the first film, or create a whole new storyline with the main characters.
By the way, a good multiplayer game for the NES was "A Nightmare on Elm Street". You should download that.
