Merry Christmas, everyone.
It's funny to think It's been a whole year since I got my Wii. It's depressing to think it's only been around 3 months since it started getting good exclusive games.

What a season. My life has taken a grand about-face in the past month.
I've got something for you guys, but it's not done yet. Is it ok if it's late?

So what did everyone get? Here's my haul so far.
A Jack Daniel's Free Standing Optic
2 pairs of Converse shoes
1 bottle of Jack Daniel's
1 bottle of Morgan's Spiced
A 15-pack of Miller
A pair of Jack & Jones jeans
Shower stuff
Some chocolate and stuff
£50
I think my family have recognised that I'm becoming more and more of an unemployed waster, so they're trying to help me complete the image with hard liquor.

Not that I'm complaining, of course. Getting drunk is great!
I never really remember what I get for Christmas unless I get games, so I'm probably going to forget about this year. Saying that, I still haven't got anything from my friends yet, and one of them said he was trying to get me a copy of God Hand. I'll have to pass by him a little later.
I should be having dinner in about half an hour. I'm really hungry, so it'll be quite welcome.

Unless I get a job soon (the viral marketing got back to me and said they'll take me when they have enough business to look for more employees), I'm going to hold onto my money and buy No More Heroes in February.
If I were to get a job, however, I'll probably spend it on Guitar Hero 3.
(EDIT- Scratch that. I'll probably buy The Orange Box on PS3 tomorrow... assuming no one else gives me any games this year)

I got:
A Freeview set top box, which means I don't have to leave my bedroom to watch television, and a Sharpe Collector's Edition DVD box set of the entire series. A friend of mine bought me Sharpe's Challenge on DVD, which is the icing on the cake really.
I'll be headin' out tomorrow to pick up some stuff from Gamestation. RE Dead Aim, Outbreak, to finish off my RE collection - might get Survivor too, MIGHT. I'll be pickin' up some Wii Points and a Classic Controller, then if I've got any money left - Wipeout Pulse for the PSP, I do love me some Wipeout.
Gotta save my monies for some adult education classes, and of course No More Heroes.

Not as great as last Christmas, when I got a Wii and two games, but this year certainly wasn't bad:
Early presents:
-Michael Jackson: Moonwalker on DVD (imported from Japan! Absolute great movie and transfer, and I'm not being sarcastic!)
-Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 (heh heh)
-Rock Band for Xbox 360
Christmas presents:
-A pack of wintergreen Tic-tacs
-A chocolate bar
-Two Bathroom Readers
-the Blade Runner suitcase on DVD (apparently Snatcher got both the BD and the HD-DVD versions, that nut)
Late presents, arriving tomorrow:
-Final Cut Express 4 (since I need a newer video editing program and I can't use iMovie 6.0.4 forever...)
-A modchipped PS2 (you know what that's for

)
-And one other mystery package from Hong Kong...it might be a Sonic Adventure 2 birthday pack for Dreamcast (I <3 DC)
Wow! I am one spoiled bastard! Admittedly it was spread out over a month or so but still, I feel bad admitting I got all that stuff...let's hope someone else comes along and says how they got a Wii and an HDTV to go with it, or something...

Hehehe congrats guys, you got great stuff. 8bitsonic seems quite happy =)
As usual in my case I got no presents... we've gone to a point in my family that we don't give each other much in the season, we rather buy a gift when we feel like, and when we find something the other might like/want.
I did get myself some stuff though =P Not really for Christmas, but since it was pretty close it might be called a present to myself. Got myself a Rotel 2400 vintage turn table, recently restored.. with around 30 vinyls I wanted. And the Blade Runner stuff of course =P

I thought I'd just put this in here instead of clog up the forums with similar topics.
Happy New Year! I hope that everyone has had a good year, and that with the new year, that happiness will continue, and if you haven't had a good time; that this coming year will prove to be better for all of you. Here's to a great new year for all you.
