Unfortunately, I never got a chance to play Japanese version of any MGS game. I'm hearing some arguments that Akio's performance for Big Boss and Solid Snake is same, he didn't alter his voice for Big Boss like he altered for Solidus. Is this true? Because Hideo Kojima said that Big Boss will be given different voice portrayal, he wanted more human feel to it. If what they're saying is true than Kojima is.....wrong! How's that possible? He is the creator, the inventor of these character.

Do you guys think that Akio's voice performance for Big Boss is same as Solid Snake? Is there any difference or not? What are the differences? And also, can you guys point out some differences between David's performance for Solid Snake in MGS:The Twin Snakes and his performance for Big Boss.

From what I've heard, he didn't alter his voice for Solidus Snake. Solid and Solidus are meant to sound the same, if I recall.

They don't sound the same in this video. I mean, obviously, Akio Otsuka didn't change his voice for Solidus, but he doesn't speak the same way : Snake sounds like a soldier, Solidus, like a leader/President.
