I read somewhere (probably here) that there was gonna be a Santa camo for download around Christmas (in the US, at least). I haven't checked today, but there wasn't anything on Christmas Eve or Christmas day. Anyone know when or if it's gonna come?

Sucks! Does anyone knows how to unlock and the green and blue face paint. It's listed in BradyGames' guide as an unlockable, but it seems that you need the First Bite and Maxi CD to unlock them in Japan (which are unavailble in the US).

If downloading camo does go ahead for the UK version which i doubt it will, i think we will not need codes and such, mainly because we never get merchandise, all i have ever seen within mainstream shops that dont import were the MGS2 figures, we might get a code with the soundtrack or guide, but thats all i can think of

I have unlocked some of this that need the key disc. Undfortunately, you can only use one key disc at a time =/
And apparently they work only on new games....

Don't quote me, but people are talkin highly unbelievable jive that there are codes for code breaker or gameshark to unlock these. Defenitly for sure, these camos(all I can find are brown and green face paint, and dpm and desert tiger camo encrypted)are embedded on the USA game disc, if you want to see I can give you a dat. file decrypter to just look at them, even though that doesn't lead anywhere. All the buffoons on gamefaqs played through the games in different ways thinking that will help hahahaaha. There's gotta be reason for them just being there. But yet again, when you look at the stage.dat file there are sound bytes(effects) on there that were never used in the game at all! wild eh, but that isn't common for games, biohazard 3 is stuffed with a bunch of maps and skins never used on the final. None the less though, this is something I notice alot when messing with games, cause I help make source codes and build ideas for PCSX2, and ePSXe in my spare time.

I'd love a copy of that dat file decrypter to play around with irt...
Though I believe they are there because they were for the japanese release, and didn't have time to do thoise unlockable for the US release, that's all. Those are unlockable via keydisk...

What does the Santa camo do?

The grenade camo gives you unlimited grenades. It kinda looks like Rolento from Final Fight and Street Fighter Alpha.
The mummy camo prevents any serious injury (gunshot wounds, burns, broken bones, etc), which, combined with the fact that it's whitish, makes it great for the Boss fight.

Our Santa camo prayers have been answered. It isn't up on the website (the english pages never get updates for more than 2 months after release) but the Santa Camo is available for download. I just found out, but apearently it has been out for a little while. It came out some time (like a few weeks) after Christmas.
I think that the people handling these things need to do it a little faster, and keep us informed of these things. Perhaps they could even go as far as update a web page.
But anyway, go get'm Santa Camo!
