Wanna know something funny?
You see that 2nd high bidder....
Rinkya...
The white sorter package was my 2nd choice. And getting black sorter #2 later in the day was awesome. I wouldn't have been able to afford it had I broke the bank on that package.
I saw that steel card sell for 15,000Y once buy-out price but it sold while I was "thinking about it"
FUCK. It was just after the event and I thought "gee I wonder if that'll be worth anything or I'll see like 50 more of these pop up".

man, you keep buying multiples of the same items.. now i know you're joking around with your house finances.
you really upped that bid pretty high if that was your rinkya bid.
i saw the steel card prior to the actual release of mgs4, with the invitation and everything. i think it sold for about 800$, the same package as shown here, but without any of the other items in the "kit"
yah that would have been a nice deal on the card, but without all the paperwork and invitation papers..
it's neat he's selling these off, but i feel kinda sorry for the guy selling his stuff cause he's getting married...
i mean.. what happens when i get married? lol.. basically sell all my games and collections?
i had a friend who is female come over last night and she laughed when she saw my living room. big tv, lots of games.

Yeah I'm lucky my wife is so cool with things. I mean, my current living room has 7 MG posters and 4 signed items on the walls.
If I got that MGS4 kit at my max bid I would've had to sell a comic to someone I know. I have an Incredible Hulk comic worth about $1200 and I know a guy locally that seriously wants to buy it. Plus I would've sold off alot that kit. I probably would score $300 if I put the posters up for bids on ebay. The only time they hit ebay they reached $512.50. I don't expect that, but even a reprinted one fetched I think $262 or something ridiculous like that and it wasn't even an original.
Plus I would've had to pass on the 2 sorters, so in the end I'm extremely happy with my purchase. The white sorter was a ripoff but the black was a steal so it evens out. (translation: FUCK I WISH I WON THE STUPID PACKAGE FUCK!)
Anyways, if that package does appear again....there goes my comics....heh
Actually in the end I just kept bumping my bid up by like $10-20 just to keep delaying and make the other guy pay more. I quite once the white sorter was about to close.

Yeah I was really bitter about it.
It probably pissed the guy off more I kept adding 10mins to the auction than the $10 I was upping it heh. I needed to kill time as it was 6am in the morning here and I had almost an hour before the sorter closed. I usually go walk my dogs if that's the case but it was raining and they were tired. I suspected his max bid was $1500 (just a guess really) so I wouldn't have bumped it up higher than that.
Then aha*** made ME wait a couple times by bumping my bid up dammit
~karma~
