HDMI Cables

Ok...it's been about a year since I got my ps3, and I figure it's finally time to upgrade to 1080. I was looking at amazon for HDMI cables, and saw that they're only like 5-10 bucks...this raised a flag immediately, and I was wondering if any of you had recommendations as to which cable I should look into, or if the Amazon ones are good quality.

Thanks

When it comes to HDMI cables, a cable is pretty much a cable (unless you are worrying about the version). Because HDMI carries a digital signal, if the tv gets the signal, it will display the image just as well as an expensive cable would. This is unlike Analog cables (composite, component, s-video etc.) where the quality of the cable effects the signal. So you should be fine buying a low priced cable. This is why expensive Monster HDMI cables are ridiculous, because being gold plated and super shielded really doesn't improve the cable at all.

Yea, that looks like it should be good for what you need. It is also the most recent available revision of HDMI (1.3), so it should work well.
