Anyone else cut their teeth on this game BEFORE the patch?

Talk about Kojima's hard sci-fi masterpiece.

Anyone else cut their teeth on this game BEFORE the patch?

Post by ratperson665 »

The first time I saw the 3DO trailer (un-subtitled, mind you), I was instantly blown-away. I can't say exactly by what, I guess it was the feel. The atmosphere, the visuals, the music. Then I quickly bought the game in anticipation for the patch. I played through the first two acts and was incredibly enthralled. I decided to wait until the patch for the rest. Nonetheless, I developed a real love for the game based purely on its atmosphere and style. Now that it's in English and I can grasp all the intricacies, it's even better. Was it like this for anyone else?

I don't know... I'm having trouble playing it on my PSP.

It's like having the hottest woman you can imagine giving you a nude lapdance, only you're tied to a goddamn chair.

Well...some people are into that sort of thing...

Would you be into that sort of thing if you were tied to the chair watching hence lapdancer...
while you had Jim Carrey repeat "the most annoying sound in the world" from Dumb and Dumber in your ear?

That's more like what it is.
