That's right, in HIDECHAN RADIO #300, you can listen to SDATCHER from minute 27:50 to 38:22.

So far I've liked it very much, what I can understand, and the music of course. Enjoy!

I hope they release the soundtrack and artbook!

I really like the art work, the art style reminds me allot of the movie REDLINE.

Hmm... Seems like this ones gonna focus around Jean Jack Gibson.
Intersting direction Suda is taking. Looking foward to this..., even if I don't speak Japanese... yet.

I've started on the translation. Not sure when it'll be done, since I'm busy with TGS stuff right now. Shouldn't take too long though. :)

Lisa Neilsen being involved interests me. I wonder if we'll see her pre-Snatcher?

Hey, new around here. Figured this would be the best place to post this, though. I went ahead and translated the character profiles.

Jean-Jack Gibson (Voice Actor: Akio Otsuka)

The protagonist, a veteran Science Cop.

He is a dedicated police officer and has never hesitated to execute an order.

However, he has recently had some private struggles and the glint in his eyes has started to fade.

Little John (Voice Actor: Hideo Kojima)

Jack's partner.

A miniature bipedal robot navigator.
It acts as Jack's devoted sidekick and provides logistic support.

Cristian Gainsbourg (Voice Actor: Hochu Otsuka)

Nickname: Cris.

A major player in Neo Kobe's drug trade.

He's actually an undercover cop and Jack's former colleague but, because his assignment is top secret, only a few investigators know the truth.

Lisa Nielsen (Voice Actor: Yumi Kikuchi)

A waitress at the Warsaw diner.

She was once charged with prostitution in one of Neo Kobe's districts. However, she was released into Jean-Jack Gibson's custody and has been successfully rehabilitated.

Her measurements are 35-22-34.

Looks like the concept artwork is trying very hard to evoke a Moebius feel. This is funny because Moebius's "Long Tomorrow" story is the main visual influence for Blade Runner. It all comes full circle now.

Okay, translated a little bit more, this time from the "LISTEN" section of the website.

COMING IN ACT 1

Delicious crab fried rice and a beautiful waitress with a smile that'll take your breath away. That's the Warsaw.

Into that run-of-the-mill diner strolled a guy who was anything but. That's when fate started spinning its gears.

The name's Jean-Jack Gibson.

"I know where I'm going to die."

Prior to mentioning the feedback from our "raid" on their last KP Report, the new one mentions that they're aware that there ARE fans of Snatcher, and if possible they'd like to bring it to us. http://www.kjp.konami.jp/gs/hideoblog_e ... .html#more I think it's that time again. ;)

listened just now
it's very nicely done, music and all,
though i only understand the easier sentence fragments,
so i do not grasp the story at all :)

as a "radio play",
it reminds me of the german "the last detective"
a scifi radio play from the '80, it came on public radio.
the protagonist had a metalgear-like companion(mobile, voice interface) called sam,
a portable extension of the large computing power at home.

Hey guys, I was starting to think "God, I can't wait any longer to listen to this Sdatcher thing !" but I was waiting for a translation...

I didn't search the web until today, since some of JunkerHQ members apparently wanted to translate the episodes.
Well, I couldn't wait any longer and searched Google, to find this translation of the first Act, but the author says it's a pretty "quick and dirty" translation.

So, I imagine there is still things to correct to come up with a perfect translation, but we at least have that for those who don't want to wait any longer. :D

Glad there is at least something now. I still plan on finishing our translation soon, just been busy the past couple weeks.

Also, we now know what Alice Gibson looks like. This was posted on the live show last night. She's played by Kikuko Inoue, who played Jamie in Snatcher.

A mystery character, played by Tomokazu Sugita. His middle name looks like "Black".
