MGS3 Extreme Box

Post by Jonathan Ingram »

More details released today...

http://www.konamistyle.com/product/prod ... fid=NM0026

http://www.konamistyle.com/item/gw/mgs/dvdbox.html

Of special note is the final disc which has the polygon demos on it with a commentary, but that can be turned off to watch just the demos on their own.

Also the Kubrick it'll come with will have the croc cap and is Tiger Stripe.

The book looks to be good too, interview with Otsuka amongst other things.

I liked the idea of the "E.V.I.L." discs, but I'm not too annoyed that they scraped the idea, as the artwork makes up for it.

You know, for some reason I'm totally not excited for this, except for the book and the cut-scenes commentary. I dunno, watching someone else show me the secrets I want to discover on my own just doesn't appeal to me.

Yeah, there's stuff like the karaoke videos not available elsewhere, but I'm just kind of "blah" towards it.

I agree Osiris, it isn't as exciting as it could be, but I have to buy it. Plus it's only 9000 yen or thereabouts. Not all that much really.

Does the Konami Style Jap shop ship to the UK? If not, Play-Asia have the pack on pre-order for 129 US dollars.

Konamistyle will only ship within Japan. Play-asia is a good shop though...

Konamistyle sent out an email last week that said that there will be a bonus item for those who order the box through them. IIRC, it's a cellular phone sticker type thing. Doesn't sound too exciting, but KS tend to throw in exclusive freebies when you order from their site.
