Sorry about the quality of some of these.

DUEL MODE (Part 1)
This is a mode which allows you to select speciffic bosses to fight. Some battles such as the Ocelot duel at the end of the game are missing, for obvious reasons, but most major fights are here.
The options are-
Snake vs Ocelot Unit
Snake vs Ocelot
Snake vs The Pain
Snake vs The Fear
Snake vs The End
Snake vs The Fury
Snake vs Colonel Volgin
Snake on Bike vs Pursuers
Snake vs Shagohod
Snake vs The Boss

DEMO THEATER (Part 1)
DEMO THEATER allows you to view cut-scenes from the game, either one at a time or continuously.
You control Snake on a large board, and step on icons, representing specific cut-scenes throughout the game, and can select to play them using the Triangle button.

No, it's a Phillips Black Line. Don't know the speciffic model, though, sorry.

Wow, thanks for the great post, 87th. Good work!

I love the way that cutscene theatre is set up! Neat.

Anyway, here's to MGS3: Substance :)

Apparently you get something special for unlocking all the cutscenes, in Demo Theater. I'll report back if it's true. You may also get rewarded for getting all the best times on Duel mode, but I have no idea about that.

Now, are there any special effects for the new facepaints and camouflages?

What is that Camo called "Snake" in the facepaint pics?

I haven't noticed any effects of the Camos, myself, but I haven't used them much (I usually just stick with what's most effective).
Snake is the Camoflauge you get for wearing out all of The Boss's stamina at the end of the game (I actually found this method easier).

I've been seeing some people with trouble beating The Boss but I find it very easy and I just use CQC

In the Japanese version, Snake even gets an exclamation mark when the Boss engages you in CQC, telling you when to counter.

I read somewhere that Japanese gamers don't like their games to be too hard, and that's why sometimes things like that are in games, and the European versions are slightly more difficult.

And about The Boss, I kind of cheated and opted with the pussy way. Kneel down in the flowers, equip thermals, and shoot her from a distance. Very easy that way.
