I can't think of a clever way of expressing how much I hated that, so I won't bother...
Oh, I'll have a go: It was about half as funny as learning you've contracted AIDs.
No, that wasn't very clever at all. The point still stands, though. It was well shitegeist!

Common, it wasnt that bad, clearly made by MG fans for MG fans, and its got comical momments, it was funny, dont be so up tight

Well, if by "MG fans" you mean "unfunny cunts" then yes, you're right. I'm guessing you probably didn't mean that, though, because the two aren't really similar in any way, and suggesting that you could get them mixed up is just ridiculous. So I won't. I didn't find it at all funny though, and I hate people and things that fail to make me laugh.

Then I supose you hate a lot of people

I just hate it when posers have to affirmention the whole series of metal gear alligning around the solid series. They always say "I thought big boss was the best last guy in all of the metal gear solid series." Those people are literally fuckin retarded.
To be honest, real metal gear fans can give a crap less about metal gear anymore cause they are deep kojima fans more than just that. Otherwise they are just metal gear fan boys that still live in their parent's basements. Go play some policenauts kiddies and you'll all get what I mean. (don't gimme that jap excuse, there's guides out there lol)
Or maybe it's just I grew up in an MSX and Nintendo generation, while others grew up in a PSX and "None-tendo" generation hehehe. None the less, people gotta learn the hard way I guess.

I grew up in a PSX world, though believe me, i was beat with a game boy, master system and mega drive/mega cd from a young age by my brother. And i also owned an N64, and currently own a gamecube, although PSX came to me at the point in my life where mose would call it the main console for me, i have experienced others. Anyway, i still know even though Kojima leaves that i will like MG, of course i will, i started as a MGS fan, which moved onto a Kojima fan, the series will always be something i enjoy, i doubt this one will be as good as the previous, but i will still get it and most probably enjoy it, and i have played Policenauts, though having completed it, i think i will start playing it again

Well said? You've gotta be kidding me. That post is so goddamn ridiculous it looks like he's being sarcastic, and i sure hope he is.
Anyway, back to the topic. I thought that flash video was really well done! Didn't make me laugh all that much, but still very well done.

why sould people play Policenauts if they don't understand Japanese I mean it must be really fun playing an adventure game where you dont understand nothing the characters say

I've always thought of Flash Animation as cartoons that are to crap to get on TV. This confirms such suspiscion.

there are a lot of great flash animations like Ebolaworld

It was as funny as 97% of the FLASH cartoons on Newgrounds, which is to say not funny at all. It tries too hard to be clever, but ends being as cliched-ridden as everything else (not unlike the poster who said "it's by the fans, for the fans").

I stopped watching a short way in because hearing the intro music to MGS2 reminded me how good it is, and I had to go listen to it in full.

The animation was mostly clichés, bad writing, and worse voice acting. It did have a few moment of greatness.
-The ninja scene was hilarious, but poorly acted.
-Dropping Snake on the other side of the facility because he needed the exercise.
-Poorly integrated music. They butchered some great songs.
It was like eating a turd and finding the occasional almond.

Yes, and then realising you're eating faeces and vomiting it back up all over yourself.

Only to find the almonds were in fact crystalline pieces of turd.

Hah. I'd expect someone to say that.
Too many people revolve around the Metal Gear games (which some consider only to be S1-S3, but they are complete dumbasses.) and really don't give any credit to other Kojima games like Plissken said. It's pitiful that you seem to be one of them.

So according to Plisskin i'm living in my parents basement and a "kiddie". Well, he's wrong on both accounts.
I'm just a guy who like the Metal Gear series and haven't bothered much with Kojima's other games. I don't care if that makes me a "real fan" or not. That's just how it is. I still look up to Kojima though, and think he's a great man.
You and Plisskin need a serious reality check, and you also need to grow up, when you have a mentality like this. I sure as hell hope i'm not the only one on the forum that feels this way.
Just so there's no misunderstandings.. i'm not one of the people that haven't played the MSX games of Metal Gear. I've played them countless times. Hell, i even made speed runs of them. The reason i reacted to Plisskin's beyond ridiculous post was this:

But you must also remember that the majority of those fans never knew of Metal Gear or Metal Gear 2. If one was released on NES and edited, and the 2nd official not even released outside of Japan, i think for most of those fans it would be hard to find out about any previous storys other than the previous missions log in MGS. Anyway, most people are fans of MGS, just because they liked MGS dosent mean they have to like MG and MG2 or even give a shit about them, you are getting tangled in your own thoughts of what a MG-MGS fan should be. If they want they can go find out about the previous games. I could say that the majority of people here whom are MG fans came about it through Solid, perhaps they played the NES version of Metal Gear, or were a die hard fan of the previous, but most got into the games when they went more mainstream. I could be very wrong, but i doubt that to many people got into MG before MGS

Who cares how you got into Kojima games or if you're just into MGS. MG games rake in the dough so Kojima can make other games for the Kojima fanboys who think low of others who like only MG. How many people discovered Kojima games before MGS as opposed to those who discovered them after? This kind of elitism reminds me of the subbed/dubbed war that goes on in anime fans.

But the real thing is to remember that we all have lives outside of videogames.
In the end, who gives a damn?
