Tactical Espionage Expert?

Hey, just wanted to show you guys something I found while doing a random Google search.

Image

It's a Yu-Gi-Oh trading card from one of their Rise of Destiny pack. It's clearly an anime-esque rendition of Snake and the Gurlukovich soldiers from MGS2, although Snake's gun looks kinda weird. I'm surprised I've haven't seen anyone else noticing this.

As some may or may not know, in addition to publishing the Metal Gear games, Konami also produces the Yu-Gi-Oh trading card game.

Interesting find. Snake's hair is ridiculous though.

I think it's a mix between Raiden and Snake
by the way does the card say?

On a related note there are other Konami games referenced in Yu-Gi-Oh!:

Vic Viper - I bought a Japanese pack at the california state fair some years ago, ($2 a pop, it was a steal) and this card was in it...

Option - And with the Viper they also included a card for this, too.

I believe they also made cards for Koitsu/Aitsu from Parodius. (the paper airplane-riding stick figures)

(A DDR-style game also appeared in one episode of the series)

More of a mix of Snake and Fox than Snake and Raiden, i'd say.

the guy on the card has a bishounen/"girly" look, so I guess it's a Raiden mix but it could be my mistake

I personally hate trading card games, but that's a fucking awesome find. Where the hell did you find that?

Stuff like this makes me wish that the MGS2 TCG hadn't been canned even more.
