I'm at Syd Gardens right now and already talked to the panda snatcher. Where am I supposed to go from here? The Ice Cream Stand is blocking the North section.
-I figured that part out and now I am at the part right before i talk to Elijah with Randam. But I switch the disc like it says and all I get is a black Screen. I know i must be close to the end, can anyone help me out on this?

You sure it's not the emulator? Try using NLMSX. It works for me.

Thanks, I'll give that a try but I would have expected more from the latest version of bluemsx.

What should I do when the game asks me to insert a sound cartridge. I'm using paraMSX emulator.

I got that with my old version of Bluemsx. I don't know how to fix it so see if there are any updates for that emulator and if not try another emulator.

Yeah, you can't "plug in" an SCC+ cart in an emulator. The emulator has to have the support built in. I recommend NLMSX for Windows users, it's your best bet for running all of the MSX Snatcher games.

I just downloaded NLMSX and tried to play the game but I still get the message 'Insert sound cartridge'.

Well, if you're playing the originaL Japanese version, you should be fine. I'm guessing you're playing the English version, in which case I'd recommend you download another one from a well-known Abandonware site with the name of a type of domesticated animal in its name...

I just made it work by using scc.rom (which came with ParaMSX) as a cartridge but I have another problem now. Is it possible to save the game somehow?

Yes. You need a disk image of a blank formatted MSX disk. Here you go:
http://nlmsx.generation-msx.nl/phorum-3 ... erdisk.zip
Load that into disk drive 1 or A or whatever when it asks for a "userdisk".
