In Act 1, Napolean will eventually leave if you take too long to get to Alton Plaza after phoning him. If that happens go to another location (he won't answer the phone if you call him in Alton Plaza) and arrange another meeting.

Hope that helps. :)

Speaking of Napolean, has anyone noticed how similar he and the president from Akira look? I'll look for pics.....

Nezu

Post by kitano »

Hi, it's my first visit here. How is everyone?

I've too noticed that Napoleon and Nezu are almost exatcly the same, except Napoleon has his eyes in a more widescreen fashion, maybe an attepmt to distiguish the man's Chinese heritage (?).

But looking at the Snatcher manga, anyone can notice the striking resemblance in style to Katsuhiro Otomo's Akira in the overall design.

Thanks for that :) I was stuck on this bit too; noticed that Napoleon didn't pick up the phone if you call him while at the plaza - never thought about doing it somewhere else. I'll try this when i get home tonight. I was begining to think that i'd have to start the game again :p

Even the cars and the buildings are almost exactly alike (the whole spotlight thing coming from the buildings is very similar). Although, I'm pretty sure that Napoleon looking like Nezu is the only instance where a character looks like something out of Akira.
