After my HDD was wiped, I lost the MSX ROM. I tried downloading it again from the translation page, but the link to the ROM seems to be broken! Can anyone provide a copy?

Yeah, I have an English copy of the MSX ROM. If you've got MSN Messenger I can send it to you over that. Or attach it in an e-mail if you like. The offer's on the table for you.

There's a European Mega CD version, but that's it.

There's a European Mega CD version, but that's it.
So, I mean we can say that it is nearly impossible to get one of them. And if, it wouldn't matter because I don't have the right console for it.

Therefore my last chance is the ROM. Anyone...?

Not really.
There are five of them on eBay at the moment.

But then you'd start getting into the scary world of "console collecting"- buying £60 consoles for just one game that costs around £80 by itself. Two years ago, I had a couple of GameBoys, a PlayStation, a PS2 and a GameCube. Then I bought a MegaDrive and started collecting. Now I have over 20 consoles!

Tell me about it. I started about 12 years ago...
between what you buy, what friends donate after they no longer play them and what people give you as a present, besides the consoles that come out. It can take great part of your income =)

Heh...I have Atari 2600 carts scattered literally all over the house...

It's the same with me and PSX games, except mine are scattered figuratively all over the place...

I can't walk for piles of 2D GameBoy Scrolling Shooters and MegaDrive platformers scattered about the floor. I don't care much unless something's in one of my favourite series, which has really made me worry about where my copy of RE3 is.

I don't know if it's too late, but I'd also really like Snatcher for MSX.
Email is
jojomgs@gmail.com if someone feels kind enough to send it to me.

What's going on?
Does nobody have the ROM???
Is there any chance to play the game? (except to buy the game and the console)

I got it...
But I have problems to get it started. It always says ''BOOT FROM DISK 0!'' and freezes...

by 8bitsonic
That's because you have to boot from Disk 0.

Maybe a serach in google, or simply entering the snatcher page here at Junker HQ would have answered to all the questions and requests in this thread?

Are you giving it nough ram? look at the specs needed at the official release page. That is most probably the problem you are facing.

Unfortunately I'm using a Mac. And there is no blueMSX for Mac.
In certain things Macs rule.
But in other thinks it sucks.
And this is one of those things...
