Some Snatcher news

This are copied from the Status Page since I believe most of the people here don't check it because of my "frequent updates" :P
23/02/2006 Another month goes by. But there are some Snatcher news, which I don't claim to be the first to bring of course. There was a renewal of the Snatcher trademark by Konami, on 2005-10-27. Of course this has created rumors of a re-release of some sort, but if you examine the page it reveals that such a renewal process has been done in the past, and that it needs to be done every 6 years (Wikipedia states that in the US it is a period of 5 years at most). What it does point out, is that Konami is not forgetting it's trademarks neither letting them go.

Also, during the 25th Hidechan radio transmission (available at Konami's site) the guest was Kikuko Inoue (seiyuu/voice actress for Jaime Seed in Snatcher CD-ROMantic, Karen Hojo in Policenauts, Rose in Metal Gear Solid 2 and The Boss in Metal Gear Solid 3. I don't understand much of it, but from what I gathered and what Osiris told me (who told me about this whole deal) they are speaking about when they made the games (Snatcher and Policenauts) and they put Snatcher and Policenauts music in the background during the interview. The great thing that they always do, noted as well by Osiris, is end the program with End of the Dark, a hint to how much Kojima-san loves the game. Thanks a lot to Marc for this info.
In other news, I also got hold of two Snatcher related soundtarcks (and two Metal gear ones). Scans comming soon.

I'm surprised to hear that so many Kojima characters were played by the same woman. Most of them are love interests, too.
Which soundtracks did you get, anyway? I'm quite surprised that there were other Snatcher soundtracks other than the ones that have been scanned, already.

Hi Snatcher,

Is one of those CDs the one that I posted here to you about? If you remember, I told you about a Konami Soundtrack I found in Japan that had Snatcher music on, I gave you the KICA and found that it wasn't in your collection - is it that one of them?

Yes that is right

KONAMI ENDING COLLECTION
KICA 1046~7
Disc 1 : Track 11 Snatcher (MSX)
Disc 2: Track 17 SD Snatcher (MSX)

Yhat's the second disc I got.

The one with the vocal tracks is:

Konami Subeshiyaru Miyuyitsuku
King Records |CD # KICA-9005-8

The ENding Collection tracks are the same found in the soundtracks (The Joint Disc). It also has the ending for MG2:SS (the same rack availabe in it's OST as well). It is a compilation after all.

KICA-9005 had some interesting things though...

Cool, is the 2nd soundtrack an exclusive Snatcher Soundtrack? Or a Konami music compilation?

It is a Konami music compilation:

http://maru-chang.com/games/music.php/senryoubako-h3/

It has vocal arrangements in the first disc, game boy music arangements in the second one, TMNT and Gradius III OST in the third and TV commercials in the fourth (no snatcher ones).

It also came with a small calendar (nice images I'll post later) and some stickers.
