I've been thinking about this and I know now that the future of this project is uncertain, but I'm still going to give it a try. I can't do this without some decent programs. Any recommendations?

I use Vim when I edit things. But I'm not sure if that would work.Osiris wrote:Dude, you never cease to amaze me. If you don't even know which programs to start with, how do you expect to do the actual coding??

Interesting, that has been my editor of choice for over 20 years. I find it particularly interesting that someone not command line oriented prefered that option. It is not an hex editor though and it has never helped me in this kind of work except when coding in c, but the use of the two modes is great for me, plus all the key combinations and coding assisting properties it offers through vimrc.
