Full timeline of products needed

Post by Szczepaniak »

Greetings all

I'm a retro gamer and MG series fan, and this is my first post here. :D

Followed Johnny U here from Gamefaqs. (dont run though, I'm not your average GF user as Mr Undaunted will hopefully attest to, I've also done work some of you may recognise)

Anyway Im working on a little project regarding MG (JU knows it, but Id like details kept a secret until it's done please :) ), and Id like a full timeline of all the MG products released please.

Including all games, even Snakes Revenge and the IBM version of MG, all special edition packages and all offshoot products such as the lego, radio play CD's, LP's and anything else MG related. In fact, even if its not 100% official and licensed, Id still like to know about it and its year of release anyway. :)
(when listing the games, I'd like each region as well)

So, who can help me out?
Who can list EVERY MG related product or peice of software and the year it was released?

btw, despite being a big MG fan, I probably dont know as much as many of you (JU's posts that I've read have certainly been VERY eye opening, with truly fascinating insights into the entire series), so please feel free to post some informative yet unusual and obscure facts here, or link me up to the right topics in this forum. I plan on doing reading research and bulking out my overall general knowledge on the whole MG universe.

So then, fact me up!

I cvan only give you years on the stuff I have, which is listed at the Kojima page . I do have about 10-15 items not listed/scanned there, and I'll add them this month.. so it will grow in some time. Take care

aha! Mr site owner/organiser I presume? :D

Excellent site btw, filled with some truly great info, images and worthy projects.

I believe I may have emailed you a while back.... I think.

Anyway, the page you mention is great for lists of many items. It actually formed the backbone to my current semi-complete timeline. :)
Right now Im looking to fill some of the gaps, I only today found out about the MG radio plays, and someone mentioned an LP as well?

thanks for the reply

May 1998, as far as I know.... But Takamichi could clear that one up.

Thanks, it was for a MG history article I wrote.
Though sadly I think they cut the timeline before printing due to space issues. :(

Its not even complete, I had to stop after a while due to there being far too many items to list.
