MGA, anyone?

Post by Solidé »

Is anyone playing Metal Gear Acid games?

I am, and i really like those, especially the first one is cool. I know many people has said that MGA games sucks because they are not like other MG games. Anyway, i liked MGA.

MGA1 is one of my alltime favorite games , characters, story and totally new kind of "metal gear -gameplay" is the reason why i enjoyed this game. MGA2 was good too, but i didn't like it much as MGA1 tho. Of course the musics and gameplay were much better, but i didn't like cell-shading graphics, story was kinda lame and few character (ex. Venus) were just horrible. Anyway MGA2 was cool too even it wasn't that great as the first one.

So is here anyother MGA gamers around?

I would. But i hate card games in video games!

I was so dissapointed when i learned that the new portable MGS game would be a card game. Thank heavens for Portable Ops.

But how is the card gaming? Maybe i could learn to live with it. Is it any good?

To be honest, Ghost Babel is my favourite protable MG game by far, and I don't even like it all that much.

MGA came across as a forced spin-off. MGA2 was a little better, but I still knew that the only reason I was playing it was because it said "Metal Gear" on the box. Portable Ops was an underthought mess of bad controls and silly plot devices, created to keep the increasing fanboy market happy.

Now I've got PlayStation and MSX2 emulators on my PSP, I don't feel any reason to go back to them any time soon.

Ah, i love Ghost Babel. Such a great game. That's my favourite portable MGS game too.

MGA does have a cool design, though. I love those drawn pictures from the game. A bit better than the ones from the comic book and Portable Ops.
