Question is, for how long will they keep that up? These kinds of events are obviously not cost-effective, and considering how there are cheaper and more efficient ways of reaching consumers (i.e. the Internet) these days I doubt any of them will remain, at least not in their current forms.

There's more MGS products to be announced at the MGS 20th Anniversary party, or so Ryan says. Anyway, E3 this year was disapointing. Devil May Cry 4 wasen't shown, not even a single Final Fantasy game was shown, plus all the big games was back at the hotels so nobody chould play them.
What?

The one thing I noticed was that Square seemed to have dropped out altogether from the event. Maybe they were there, but I heard no coverage on them. Now I seem to recall they also turned their back on TGS a year or so ago -- or was that Nintendo? -- so it would seem as if they want nothing to do with these big gaming conventions anymore. Not that I care, but....
