Well, I don't see what being African American has to do with the hot lady underneath the games.
Considering that I only see blue (It's a Navy equal oppurtunity thing).
I am glad you are picking up Bladerunner, it's the bacon bits! Make sure you get the Final Cut. it's the best and preferred by the director!
It's amazing how Kojima can use pieces from other things such as movies, stories, and whatever media he is influenced by but still be able to have a completely original idea. ie. Snatchers storyline.
I really am not here to be annoying, just to make sure you guys aren't giving up!
someone has to be that thorn in the side, right?
Subject change in... 5-4-3-2-1...
I'm listening to the MGS4 OST already and it's sweet. I've analyzed it to the point where I figured the second disc is mostly the ingame music while the first is the movie-type of music. and... "Paradise Lost" is most likely EVA's tune cuz there were some Eva briefing bits thrown in. pretty cool. this can't be considered a spoiler for the pure reason it's an already released soundtrack and I talked about a known character.

Saying this every week makes no difference. You've already been sent a warning for your behavior here. Please don't make us ban you.
 Ouch.
Whoa.
I've sorta become accustomed to MGA's weekly reminder, I think it actually adds a bit of light humor to this thread. Unlike most other people here (including myself), who would seriously ask "the question," he doesn't really seem serious when he complains and asks about progress.
Yeah, well, we got the joke by now. Alex knows we'll post something when we have something to post. We aren't going to give up simply because he doesn't remind us. Maybe it's entertaining for everyone else, but not for us.

not to be rude or anything
Not much can be expected on the Internet, I know. But it seems kids these days post away before reading (Nothing to be surprised I know as well).
You mean that people come in and don't bother reading what the "current problem" is?
Silver112, go back over the last three pages of this thread, and you'll find some discussion on that topic.
Definitely watch Blade Runner. It quite easily makes it into my favorite movies of all time. It's incredible. Out of curiosity, do you know version of the movie you have? There are differences in the ending which can change the entire feel of the movie. I'd recommend watching the newest release. It's called the "The Final Cut" and is basically the true directors cut of the movie. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Kojima games owned: Snatcher (kinda) Metal Gear (kinda) Metal Gear Solid Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops
Not everyone would consider that un-kiddish. Action heroes call their sidekicks, kid all the time. Humphrey Bogart repeatedly calls Ingrid Bergman kid.

How different is The Final Cut from the original? I've got TFC.

Hey guys, I just registered, obviously. I've been keeping tabs on the progress of this project for a very long time without posting or registering. Just reading, grabbing wallpapers, etc. As someone who has been drooling over Policenauts since it was announced for the Japanese market, I find it apalling when people continually badger the people that have undertaken the project without monetary compensation, completely out of their appreciation of Kojima and Policenauts. Anyone who has no experience with computer programming of any sort (and this includes me, unless you include HTML and Flash...hahaha) shouldn't continually ask about the status of the project or worse yet, provide input without reading all of the previous posts concerning status reports. It's done when it's done, and when you've been waiting 10 years to play this game, another year, or two years, isn't that big of a deal if you ask me. I want the game as it should have been with professional localization on the part of Konami, not with a portion of the text omitted. I know MGA has joked about it consistently, but it would still be frustrating for me if I were Marc or any of the others. They simply don't do this eight hours a day. It's strange how I recognize all of you, but you don't recognize me. Kind of like a stalker, except without the perverse motives.
I've always been curious if you're considering localizing Japanese products for the European/U.S. markets professionally, Marc?

I wish they would let us compensate them monetarily.....
I want to show them how much I love them... with my wallet.

I must agree. You and Alex are genuinely funny and warm when you joke about the project, and that reassures my confidence in it. That guy just brings me down with his incessant posts and embarrasses us all.

Right, because 16-year-olds are responsible adults who don't need to know how to type properly.
