The SECRET THEATER section on MGS 3 JPN website

Post by Finalfantasy7 »

i am not sure if you guys seen the funny MGS3 clip from that section or not. But for you non-japanese readers that are curious, here is a basic rundown on what that section is about and what it consists off.

[ link to the urber secret place ]

This section was made to show 5 funny edits MGS3 development staff made. But they don't want you to see them until you played and beat the game. To ensure that the vistors played the game, you are required to take a 5 question quiz before you can access the secret theater. These are pretty easy questions that you would know if you played the related parts. Each time you enter or refresh the page a new set of questions will be there, so to prevent people from posting the answers to the 5 questions online. Which questions that come up is random. I refresed that page about 20 times to see all the questions. It seems there are about 30 diffrent questions in all, and they come up randomly each time you try to go to the Secret theater.

Anyway, once you get the questions right it takes you to a page that links the MGS3 parody videos. They made a note of saying specifically that these vidoes have nothing to do with MGS3 main story. They were produced based of MGS3 as parody.

For time being only one video is open. There are 4 other bars without links, which means there are 5 parodies in all. Then next one is planned for release on next week. As for others there is no release date for them.

Anyway, if you click on the first link it takes you a page with a small box in middle that plays a SWF video of somthing funny. i will not explain it and ruin the fun, just watch/download it.

here it is: the predictable, but funny parody

i am going to take a wild guess here and predict that the next parody link when they upload it might be http://www.konamijpn.co.jp/products/mgs ... ovie_2.swf

:p

__________________________________________________________________________________________
Anyway, here are page by page pictures of the sections:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v168/ ... MGS3/3.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v168/ ... MGS3/4.jpg

for the curious people, here are the questions and the answers for those 5 questions in that screenshot.

1. Where is the place Indian gavial (the alligator) first seen in?
Answer:Near the swamp of "Dremuchij" section

2. Where is the place snake fought with the bee soldier the pain?
Answer:Ground nadir lake of "Chyornaya main cave"

3. What is snake disguised as at "Graniny Gorki laboratory"?

Answer:Scientist

4. Where was the place that Snake fought fire soldier the fury?

Answer:Underground passage of "Groznyj Grad Underground tunnel"

5. Where was the place that the last decisive battle between snake and the boss was done?

Answer:The Flower garden of "Rokovoj Berg"

i am too lazy to refresh 25 times to try get all the questions and translate them :p basically all the questions are kind of like that.

It just says the same as in the game (though it varies a little between japanese and english versions, Ocelot says something about finding the gun by accident).

and:
Spoiler:
After Snake challenges Ocelot to go ahead and shoot, he simply does... Eva escapes, and Ocelot just calles her bitch several times...
At least that is what my limited Japanese gives me.. perhaps there is more in there, but I can't tell.

Maybe they'll end up like a Salvador Dali film.

As crazy as the last one, because the campaign is over.
