The download at Daniel's Page work fine for me too:

http://www.caetano.eng.br/snatcher/

Search for the link that says "English". For an MSX emu, I would rather recommend you check out http://zophat.net/ I use RuMSX or NLMSX.

MSX version = awsomeness, thought too bad it doesn't have the final act like kojima intended, which was placed on the Pc engine version. Poor Kojima was rushed on the quota with this version.

Bah! The PC-88 version (the true original) was alot better for two reasons:
1) FM sounds
2) shorther loading times

Bah! The warm SCC music of the MSX version is much more to my liking then the "canny-dry-metallic" sounding PC-88! But perhaps that's nostalgia talking...or a matter to taste :)

Actually, that makes me think...

One of my favorite features of the Sega CD Snatcher that I played was the use of the light gun for immersion. I don't know too much about these systems, but do the PCE and MSX versions of the game incorporate something similar, or was that new for the Sega CD?

It was a unique feature for the Sega CD. Older versions used the Pad, and so did later ones (neither PSX nor Saturn have gun support).

There were other such things as well...

Ah, but the MSX has a good third of the visual window cropped for no reason whatsoever, whereas the PC88 version gives a better view of things.

+1 point for the PC88 version.

If you would have mentioned that in your earlier post I would give you all credit for it, but your mentioned that crappy canny PC88 sound as a plus! What were you thinking! You are right about the visuals though!

Not because I've also mentioned the short loading time (as opposed to loading times that allows you to read an entire novel before finishing).

And yes, I like "crappy canny" PC88 sounds. Got any problem? :p
