I need help - who made it through the segacd version?

Post by systray »

Ok I´m right in act 3, after finding the snatch laboritories in the church and you probably can imagine that I MIGHT want to see how the game ends up...finally though I keep getting stuck killing those fucking interceptors the whole time. It probably would be easier if i was playing on a real console with a pad, since moving around the aiming cross with the keyboard and pressing the shoot-button constantly leads my computer to give those beautiful bleeps signalizing inputoverflow or whatever that means!

Did you guys actually made it through that part? I somehow managed the last interceptors in the tunnel after trying like 20 times, but here...

In the first playthrough i didn't make it. I had to use Snatchertrainer.exe, which enables infinite health.
On second playthrough i actually made it through, but it truly was frustrating... This action scene has been discussed here before and many said that it's one of the most difficult scene they have ever expereinced on videogames and i admit that too.

If you want to try the cheat, here's the program, i uploaded it to rapidshare...

On my very first playthrough I played it with a friend and he had tried tons of time failing each time. I pick up the controller and went through them in one blow, I consider myself insanely lucky though considering when it went through it again (with a different friend) I did less than steller, multiple times in a row. I find the best way is to focus on the center so that your can actually see everything, when your eyes dodge around too much you'll lose focus.

You did better than I did. It took me three tries before I was able to get through the whole thing. If anybody's having a REALLY tough time on this, then there should be (depending on what emulator you're using) a way to slow down speed of the game through the settings on the emulator. I played this on my psp, so I technically had a control pad. I find it IS a lot easier to beat it than on a computer. You never get that annoying input overload bleep on a control pad.

You know, the first time I played the game, I did that on the first try too, but I wanted to see the "alternate ending" with Jamie, and had to doo it again, of course... Boy, how did I regret not just let the game end there  .

i know this seems like cheating but best way to beat then basically every time is to rotate throught up,down, left, right on the directions constantly tapping fire. i plugged in an xbox 360 wired controller to my pc when emulating it and it works really well.
i can do it perfect now without this meathod but the patterns change each time you play it and sometimes its just harder than others
