I think it´s a great idea since no developers have tried making thier games into movies also it´s Metal Gear the movie

Eh... I don't see much of a point, but Kojima can do whatever he wants. However, if he thinks this will put an end to the fans' pleas for a Metal Gear film, he's got another thing coming.

I think it's an interesting experiment. I'm suprised it's not done more often (Blizzard released cinematics for some of their games on DVD, Sega did the same thing with Shenmue, and those are the only ones I can think of.), cutscene DVDs for games like MGS3 would sell like hotcakes.

Some guy was selling bootleg cinematic cuts of MGS and MGS 2 on ebay at one point, and another guy was selling the same form of FF VII.

Few games are as cutscene-intensive as MGS3. I can't imagine a great number of games where such a gimmick would work as well.
